Remarriage? Never And Go Away! novel Chapter 829

Chapter 829 Were You Born Yesterday?

Gloria closed the door with a frown and looked at Jordy coldly. “What’s the matter with you?”

In days gone by, Jordy would have left in a fury!

But now, he didn’t leave.

He stayed and cast his dominant aura over the place. The plants in the house seemed to wither as if they had got a very powerful vibe from him.

Gloria’s frown deepened. “Jordy, I don’t think it’s in your character to stay in my house.”

“If it wasn’t for Karen, do you think I would stay here?”

Gloria snorted and thought he was being irrational, but she didn’t doubt his story. After all, if it wasn’t for Karen, Jordy would have walked away.

The next moment, Gloria said with a faint smile, “If you’re worried, I’ll talk to Karen then.”

Jordy had a frosty look on his face. “You dare not!”

“I dare yes. Gloria looked him in the eye with cold indifference, apparently quite at her ease.

She didn’t care about him anymore, so she felt comfortable saying whatever she wanted.

She dared to say anything while guarding her own interests.

She didn’t have to care about his feelings!

Jordy was just a person in and out of her life. He meant nothing to her!

Gloria scowled and turned back to George. Jordy looked grimmer, unnoticed by all but himself.

Clearly, Jordy was offended by George’s words.

Nydia was relieved to see Gloria. “Gloria!”

Gloria immediately tried to pull her hand out, but Jordy had no intention of letting go. Rather, he tightened his grip on her. She neither felt any pain nor broke free. “They’re here. Let go of me right now!” demanded Gloria angrily.

Jordy snorted, “Why should I? I was asking you if you heard me.”

Their voices were not as loud as they had been. It was obvious that neither of them had noticed the open window.

Gloria gritted her teeth. “I’m a full person and I have no relationship with you. Who are you to dictate how I live my life? Were you born yesterday? Did you use your brain when you said that?”
