Chapter 359 In a Very Bad Mood
Soon, Jordy carried Gloria into the car very carefully. Gloria didn‘t think he was doing it wrong. All eyes watched them, so he couldn‘t just throw her into the car.
Besides, Karen might be watching TV. If Jordy hadn‘t helped Gloria out of the water, then their efforts would have been in vain.
Gloria could have swum to the shore on her own, but she didn’t do it in case the one who had shoved her shoved her again. She‘d better not let anyone know she could swim.
Jordy closed the car door and gave her a cold glare. “Don‘t do anything stupid again.”
Gloria‘s eyes flickered towards her bag. She opened it and found her phone wet. It didn‘t
work at all.
She asked with a smile, “Can I borrow your phone?”
Jordy‘s thin lips curled in a swift sneer. “You have to get me a new one.”
With that, he took out the phone from his trouser pocket. It was still dripping wet.
Gloria‘s eyes widened in shock.
Without getting changed in the lounge, Jordy headed back to the hotel as soon as he could.
The hotel was not far from here.
Gloria frowned slightly and looked at Harold helplessly. “Harold, could I borrow your phone?”
“All right.”
Harold handed Gloria his phone, and she immediately took it and texted somebody.
After that, she deleted the message and gave the phone back to Harold.
They remained silent all the way back.
This time, Jordy didn‘t carry Gloria in his arms. She draped Harold‘s coat over her shoulders and walked quickly into the elevator.
Then, she rushed into the bathroom to take a shower.
She came out of the shower and saw Jordy sitting on the couch in the living room. He just showered, I guess.
She might as well keep quiet.
She would have someone look into it instead of bothering Jordy.
Jordy looked at Gloria‘s indifferent face and his eyes were colder. Then he went straight to Harold‘s room.
Jordy looked at him and asked, “What did Gloria do with your phone?”
Harold coughed. It‘s an invasion of her privacy, isn‘t it?
Jordy ordered, “Show me your phone.”
She must have sent someone a message. Did she tell Jonathan about the accident?
Jordy was in a very bad mood!
Harold stared at him and took out his phone as he was told.
Sometimes, Jordy gave Harold orders by sending him messages. Afraid that he would delete any message by mistake, Harold paid someone to develop an application program that enabled him to retrieve the deleted messages and add it to his phone.
