Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 436

The moment those words fell, the entire room fell into a stunned silence.

Everyone's eyes were wide with shock as they turned to Anna.

"An update? What does he mean by that? Seeing how successful our streamers have become, has he finally lost his patience?" Lily smirked coldly, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"My guess is exactly that. Hayden must've realized that my company has outpaced his, so now he's scrambling to release a video. But it's pointless. That's just a desperate stunt from a clown trying to stay relevant." Morgan shook his head, his expression calm and indifferent.

Francis shared their sentiments. "Hmph! Let's see what kind of video it is."

Without saying much, he reached for his phone.

But Anna's expression was off. She hesitated, then let out a wry chuckle.

"There's nothing substantial in the video," she explained. "It's just a teaser. It says a new video will drop tomorrow. It seems to just be a small trick. I guess it's just a way to stir up some curiosity."

Hearing this, Francis, Lily, and Morgan all exchanged looks before letting out dismissive chuckles. To them, this was nothing but a meaningless attempt.

However, Julia and Charlotte seemed to think otherwise, and they, too, understood that a teaser alone wouldn't have much of an impact.

"Let's see what happens tomorrow," Francis said with a carefree smile, waving it off.

None of them took the teaser seriously. Or rather, they simply believed it wouldn't affect them in any way.

Meanwhile, Hayden and Christina, along with their team, had arrived at a secluded outdoor location.

This was the spot they had carefully chosen after much discussion.

"You seem pretty confident about this one," Christina teased with a chuckle.

"My confidence all comes from how mediocre the competition is," Hayden replied with a smirk, his tone light and composed.

The recipe had come from ancient texts, and it was a pastry made from the rare night-blooming cereus. It was difficult to craft, and it required flowers that could only be harvested at night.

It was a delicacy long forgotten by the market, and it was a treat once reserved only for royalty in ancient times.

It was already around 3:00 am by the time the filming wrapped up.

"Great job, everyone! Let's have the editing done by tomorrow morning," Hayden said, offering the team a warm, appreciative smile. "That way, we can upload it first thing in the daytime."

"Got it!" the editors responded enthusiastically, all fired up and ready to work overtime.

Overtime meant extra pay, and they were more than happy to put in the hours.

"Alright. Let's head back," Hayden said to Christina.

"Sounds good!"
