"What? Morgan?"

Hayden was caught off guard, and there was a look of shock on his face.

He suddenly recalled that Morgan was feigning having a severe illness. That guy had only taken a mild hit to his head, yet he claimed to have developed some strange illness. He was also in the hospital right now.

"That's right. Morgan keeps tripping. Even now, they still haven't found out what the cause is. Maybe the Sterling family losing two people at once is some sort of karmic retribution," Julia said gloomily as she shook her head.

Just then, an idea suddenly appeared in Hayden's mind. His lips curled up ever so slightly, and he smiled wider as his interest grew.

"Actually, I can't bear to see Lily die just like that too. I'll go with you guys to negotiate."

Hayden's tone had suddenly changed, and he was smirking mischievously.

However, the trio failed to notice Hayden's expression. They were just happy that Hayden was willing to help them out. They felt that there was hope after all.

"Yes! That's great. Thank you so much! I can't thank you enough. Don't worry, Hayden. I'll definitely treat you well in the future. I'll do my best to fulfill whatever requests you have in the future!" Charlotte thanked him earnestly and nodded repeatedly.

Hayden scoffed at her words without saying anything else.

She would fulfill whatever requests he had? They would have to think about it carefully when the time came.

After that, Hayden left with the Sterlings and quickly arrived at the hospital. His appearance was quite a surprise to those there.

"You… You…" Morgan tried to say something, but he stopped, seemingly displeased.

He never thought that Hayden would agree to come back.

Why did he return?

He used to mistreat Hayden and humiliate him. He had even made Hayden the scapegoat of his misdeeds and forced him to leave the Sterling family.
