Penelope hid her smile and glanced at Jack. "It's nothing. We didn't say anything."

"It would be best not to let me hear you badmouthing me," Carla warned.

Jack, the chatterbox, shut his mouth and said, "I am going out for some fresh air."

Just like that, he became cold as soon as he was in front of Carla.

When Jack opened the door and stepped out, he saw Dominic standing outside the door.

The look on his face instantly turned cold. Blocking the door, his voice high, he said, "You are not welcome here."

Dominic asked his assistant to hand the fruit basket to Jack, "Then give this to her."

"Take it back and get lost!" Jack waved his hand as if chasing a chicken, " My princess, Penelope, doesn't need your crappy kindness."

"Is she awake?"
