With a considerable crowd around, Danna's public quarrel was truly undignified. Unconsciously, Kyla stepped back, attempting to create distance.

Penelope swayed the champagne in her glass, walking back to the two of them. Her tone was mocking, her eyes icy. "What's this? Little sis is in trouble, and you, the almost-sister-in-law, are ready to escape?"

"What are you doing!" An angry voice cut through the air.

The crowd turned aside as they saw Dominic, dressed in a dark suit, approaching with an intense aura.

He spotted Penelope immediately.

After several days of separation.

She has gained some weight, looking much healthier than in the Archer family.

Standing in the center of the spotlight, a light smile made her radiant. Wearing a custom-made gown that complemented her snow-like skin, she seemed transformed, capturing his attention.

Danna, seeing him approaching, immediately gained confidence. She pointed at Penelope and Megan and complained, "They bullied me."

Seeing the ruined makeup on Danna's face and Kyla's helpless appearance, Dominic's dark eyes swept the surroundings. The mocking voices fell silent.

"Bullying the weak with strength? How shameless."

"Think what you want." Penelope didn't want to waste words with him. She curled her lips mockingly. "Her behavior... as her brother, you should know better than me."

She didn't care; playing the villain was not a problem.

Megan, in solidarity, said, "Make she leave quickly. My party doesn't welcome anyone from the Archer family!"

The onlookers, both men and women, voiced their discontent.

"What! This little girl started with hurtful words first."

"Yeah! Speaking sharply at a young age, saying things like 'a hen that can't lay eggs.' What kind of person is she?"

"Always threatening to call the police, but a single glass of wine is thrown, and she backs off immediately. It's hilarious."

Dominic frowned slightly. He knew her character to some extent. After hearing the comments from the onlookers, he asked Danna, "Is what they said true?"

However, Kyla pretended to be dizzy, swaying and falling into Dominic's arms.

He supported her, shielding her from Megan's attack. Annoyed, he pushed Megan aside.

Due to the inertia, Megan leaned backward and almost fell. Fortunately, Penelope caught her.

"Snap!"

Penelope stepped forward and gave Kyla a firm slap.

The slap echoed in Kyla's head, and her face stung. It took her a while to realize that she had been slapped. No one had dared to hit her from childhood until now.

Shaking her tingling hand, Penelope looked directly into Dominic's eyes. Word by word, she said, "If you dare to harm Megan again, I'll pay back double on Kyla."

"Your precious little moonlight is delicate. Let's see if she can withstand a few slaps!"

She said it confidently, entirely determined to follow through.
