Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 860

The woman lowered her gaze, bit her lip, then looked up with a sultry smile. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and said softly, “Good evening, Mr. Spencer.”

“Evening,” Leon replied.

As soon as he heard her voice, Leon realized she wasn’t the real thing—but God, she looked almost exactly like her.

Those eyes, that delicate mouth, the pale, porcelain skin… Her features were nearly identical to Sarah’s.

But the moment she spoke, the excitement in Leon’s eyes faded. No matter how alike she looked, she wasn’t her.

Vivian noticed his disappointment and said lightly, “If you can’t have the real thing, isn’t a perfect copy the next best option? Besides, she’ll be very useful to us.”

Leon didn’t respond. Instead, he slipped an arm around the woman’s waist and used his other hand to lift her chin, his voice low and smooth. “What’s your name?”

“I’ll be whoever you want me to be,” she answered shyly, her eyes fixed on the tip of his nose.

“Then your name is Sasa.”

The moment the name left his lips, a flicker of coldness passed through Vivian’s eyes.

Leon left with “Sasa,” shooting Vivian a meaningful smile before walking out.

Vivian sat back down, reopened her phone, and watched the livestream again. Her entire body trembled with anticipation. She couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

On Pine Mist Island, fans were handing out apples they’d brought for the celebrities, and the celebrities returned the gesture with food they’d grilled themselves.

Amid the lively scene, Steven suddenly received a call. He left immediately, but Scarlett barely reacted—she was used to his random disappearances by now.

Steven stepped into a quiet corner and found the man who had called him.

“Zachary, what are you doing here?”

Zachary was already at the resort, his face half-hidden behind a mask. No one knew he was there.

“Is everything in place?” Zachary asked.

Steven nodded quickly. “Don’t worry. I’ve stationed people all over the island. If anyone tries anything, we’ll know right away.”

He struggled with everything he had, but he couldn’t break free from Zachary’s grip. All he could do was watch helplessly as the man disappeared into the hotel.

His strength gave out. Chest heaving, he turned to Zachary, confused and furious. “Why did you stop me? Why?!”

“How am I supposed to calm down?! Tell me!”

Zachary pulled him aside, away from the crowd. “Who did you see?”

Steven shut his eyes, breathing hard. After a few seconds, he finally answered.

“Him. I saw the man who ruined my family. He’s the one who tricked my parents and made them trust him.”

Zachary’s expression changed immediately. He knew exactly who Steven was talking about.

Years ago, Steven’s parents had trusted the wrong business partner. They forgot the caution every businessman should have. In the end, they were scammed into bankruptcy—and both of them had jumped to their deaths.

Steven had witnessed it all with his own eyes.

And even now, all these years later, that final moment was burned into his memory—his parents leaping into the void.
