Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 814

Even for the Spencer family, coming up with several hundred million would be extremely difficult.

"Mr. Spencer, you can't catch wolves without sacrificing sheep. Besides, don't you want Sarah? Once we make Zachary fail and he has nothing left, Sarah will naturally be yours," Vivian said coldly.

Leon shook his head helplessly. "Miss Wilson, have you forgotten what you announced at the birthday party? Sarah is Sanders Group's largest shareholder. Even without Zachary, I doubt she'd notice about me."

Vivian looked Leon up and down, clicking her tongue. "I really didn't expect this. Is this still the Leon I know? Usually so confident, never taking women seriously, but this time you're overthinking everything. However, all your concerns are pointless. No matter how big Sanders Group is, it can't compare to Wilson Group. Once Reynolds Corporation falls, who could stop us? Leon, if you want success, you must have ambition."

"I'm even more surprised that you're the one telling me this," Leon smiled, then his expression suddenly turned serious. "I'll gamble with you. I hope you won't disappoint me."

He made to leave, but Vivian stopped him. "Let me ask you something."

Leon looked back questioningly. "What?"

"If you get Sarah, what about our partnership? Would you turn against me because of her?" Vivian's expression was grave.

"Getting her requires destroying Zachary first. Besides, you underestimate me—once I have her, she'll have to listen to me." Leon left with a wicked smile.

Soon after, at Reynolds Corporation.

Steven rushed into Zachary's office with his laptop, saying urgently, "Boss, look at this!"

On the stock display, Wilson Group shares were rising.

At Adams University's counseling center.

Sarah had just seen off several students who'd come for consultation when a strange man knocked on the door.

Sarah looked up curiously, frowning slightly when she saw who it was. She'd only met this person once at the birthday party—how had he found this place?

"Mr. Spencer, what can I do for you?" she said coolly, maintaining a distant tone.

Leon didn't seem bothered by Sarah's reaction. Instead, he slowly settled into the therapy chair. "As you can see, I'm here to consult about psychological issues."

"Mr. Spencer, Adams University's counseling services are only available to faculty and students, not outsiders. If you have psychological concerns you'd like to discuss, you could certainly find renowned psychologists. I'm sure someone of your capabilities could locate them easily." Sarah's words made it clear she wanted Leon to leave immediately.
