He sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, his face wearing the same brazen smile. "Mr. Wilson, what can I do for you?"
Mr. Wilson had no patience for small talk. He'd done too much talking these past few days.
If not for his concerns about Wilson Group's future, he would have been completely irritated by now.
He cut straight to the point. "Leon, I know what you're capable of. I'm asking if you want to pull off something big. If you help me destroy Reynolds Corporation, I can arrange for you to be with Vivian."
Leon clicked his tongue dismissively. "Mr. Wilson, if you'd offered me this deal half a month ago, I might have agreed. But now I have a new target, and Vivian..."
He waved his finger. "She's not my type anymore."
Mr. Wilson's eyes narrowed dangerously. "What do you mean? Do you think Vivian isn't good enough for you?"
Mr. Wilson unleashed his full presence, but Leon wasn't intimidated in the least. Instead, he grinned mockingly. "I never said that. Don't put words in my mouth, old man!"
"Then what do you want? Name it, and I'll do my best to accommodate you." Mr. Wilson refused to give up on persuading him.
Leon couldn't help but chuckle. "Sorry, Mr. Wilson, I didn't mean to laugh, but I honestly can't think of anything you could do that I couldn't handle myself. If there really was such a possibility, you wouldn't be asking for my help right now, would you?"
As he finished speaking, something seemed to occur to him, and his eyes took on an obsessive gleam.
Mr. Wilson, being experienced in life, could roughly guess what was on his mind.
He'd naturally heard about what happened at the birthday party.
Leon didn't bother being coy. He stroked his chin with a lecherous grin. "Mr. Wilson, how much do you know about Sarah? I saw her at Vivian's birthday party and finally understood what love at first sight means. She's what I want now."
Of course, Leon's nature had nothing to do with deep romantic feelings for Sarah.
Vivian ignored his smooth talk, asking only, "Do you really like Sarah?"
Leon looked surprised for a moment, then began looking her up and down with amusement. "This is the first time I've learned that Miss Wilson has a habit of eavesdropping."
Vivian glared at him impatiently. "Just answer my question first."
Leon shrugged, answering carelessly, "I suppose so."
A new idea formed in Vivian's mind.
She laughed coquettishly and moved closer to Leon, breathing softly in his ear as she whispered seductively, "We could work together."
Leon was no gentleman who could resist temptation. His lips curved upward as he brazenly wrapped his arm around Vivian's slender waist, inhaling her perfume while asking with feigned innocence, "And how exactly would you like to collaborate?"
