Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 802

The threatening shard made Leon even more panicked. "Miss Sanders, this is the Wilson family's banquet. It wouldn't be good if someone died here, would it?"

"I have no intention of killing you, Mr. Spencer. You should be able to see that I have no murderous intent. I just don't understand why you'd ignore Miss Wilson and come to harass me instead," Sarah asked in confusion.

Leon looked around. At this moment, he didn't seem particularly nervous about the glass shard at his throat.

"I already told you—I have no romantic feelings for Miss Wilson. From the moment I saw you, I couldn't look away."

Sarah frowned slightly. She certainly didn't believe Leon's words. She slowly lowered the glass shard. "Mr. Spencer, don't make any more moves like that, or this shard might end up somewhere else on your body."

Leon nodded heavily. Even so, his interest in Sarah only intensified.

"Mr. Spencer, if you continue standing here and the Wilson family sees us, it won't look good. It might create some resentment," Sarah said coldly.

The implication was that she wanted Leon to leave immediately.

But Leon just glanced lightly toward Mr. Wilson's direction. "I'm afraid they've already noticed, but Mr. Wilson doesn't mind."

He and the Wilson family only had a business relationship. As for matters outside their cooperation, they couldn't control those.

Just then, Zachary approached with a dark expression, positioning himself directly in front of Sarah and facing Leon. "Mr. Spencer, instead of staying with Mr. Wilson, what business do you have with Sasa?"

"Mr. Reynolds, whatever business I have with Miss Sanders has nothing to do with you, does it?" Leon's eyes narrowed.

"What? Are you worried?" Zachary's lips curved into a smile.

Sarah didn't look at him and took a sip of her juice. "Mr. Reynolds, you're still so narcissistic. I'm just curious—Vivian is such a proud person, how could she possibly swallow her pride to say anything to you?"

Zachary laughed self-mockingly. "I really don't understand her. Logically, she would never come to me to say those kinds of conciliatory words. The strange thing is that this time she actually went against her nature and showed weakness. How could someone from the Wilson family show weakness?"

What other meaning could lie beneath this show of weakness?

Leon found Vivian and said impatiently, "Did it fail?"
