Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 801

On the hotel balcony, Sarah stood at the windy spot holding a glass of juice. The heating in the main hall was turned up too high, and she was already feeling suffocated.

Before she could relax for long, a man approached her.

Leon naturally clinked glasses with Sarah. "Why is Miss Sanders daydreaming all alone?"

"Isn't Mr. Spencer going to keep Miss Wilson company?" Sarah just held her glass without drinking.

Leon's eyes flickered as he stared at Sarah, making her skin crawl. "Miss Wilson seems to be talking with Mr. Reynolds. Don't you think they make a good match?"

A good match?

Sarah looked at him strangely. This didn't sound like something Leon should be saying.

"I thought Mr. Spencer liked Miss Wilson," she said with a smile.

Leon shook his head. "There are many kinds of liking. I admire Miss Wilson's determination, but it has nothing to do with romantic feelings. However, I think I've now found that kind of liking—love at first sight."

His gaze was burning, as if he wanted to stick to Sarah's body.

Sarah's skin was fair, and her strapless dress revealed two slender, delicate arms.

Leon's thoughts were in chaos, his mind constantly flashing with images of Sarah's captivating dance earlier.

His cheeks flushed as he drained his wine glass, staring at Sarah with the madness of drinking poison to quench thirst, his eyes glued to her body, turning slightly red.

When Sarah caught Leon's gaze, her whole body suddenly felt cold. His look was too exposed, so naked that even Sarah felt afraid.

"I don't understand what you're saying."

Love at first sight?

She never believed in love at first sight—it was just lust disguised under that romantic name.

Today she only wanted to provoke Vivian, but she hadn't expected to attract such big trouble.

"Mr. Spencer seems to have forgotten what kind of occasion this is."

"None of that matters." Leon's mind was only on Zachary.

Sarah's eyes turned cold, and a smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.

Leon found it increasingly difficult to control himself. He slowly moved closer to Sarah, but the soft sensation he'd imagined didn't come.

Sharp pain replaced all of Leon's sensations as Sarah slapped him across the face.

In Leon's moment of shock, silver light flashed, followed by the sound of breaking glass. Then Sarah pressed a glass shard against his neck. Leon didn't dare move anymore because he could feel that cold sensation.

"Don't move!" Sarah's eyes suddenly became sharp.

Leon nodded in terror. "What... what do you want to do?"

"What do I want to do? You should be asking yourself that question. Mr. Spencer, you came from Country H, whether to help Vivian or for whatever reason. We could have minded our own business, so why did you actively provoke me? You knew I came with Zachary, yet you still came to harass me." Sarah's hand trembled slightly with agitation.
