Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 799

But her husband's gaze never seemed to be on her—he was only focused on staring at that figure in white, his eyes burning with such intensity they could start a fire. She didn't know what she was feeling—whether there was more anger or disappointment.

Vivian danced with Leon but couldn't ignore Zachary and Sarah dancing nearby.

Having the person you love most dancing with another woman right beside you—no one could calmly accept that.

Her grip on Leon's hand grew tighter and tighter as she struggled to control her emotions.

Those damn photographers couldn't wait to capture Sarah on camera. The moment she saw Sarah, she knew she had dressed that way on purpose. Sarah was completely stealing the spotlight.

Leon also looked toward Sarah—this girl he had noticed in the crowd at first glance looked both spirited and lively.

Wrapped in Zachary's aura, Sarah appeared particularly charming. She was already dressed seductively, but under this charm she seemed cute and captivating, making his heart begin to race.

Perhaps that gaze was too intense—Zachary looked over, then spun around, using his body to block Leon's line of sight.

"He's watching you," he said in a low voice.

Sarah glanced sideways but didn't catch Leon's gaze. "Vivian is watching you too."

It seemed these two each had their own ulterior motives.

The piano music changed from gentle to intense, and the dance steps quickened.

Sarah's line of sight happened to fall on Zachary's chin—those sharp angles and refined jawline all drew her attention.

His palm was warm. With her hand resting on that burning palm, Sarah felt sweat forming and couldn't help wanting to pull her hand back.

"It's not finished yet," Zachary gripped her hand firmly.

Sarah was forced to continue dancing, the forced smile on her face already withdrawn. At this moment, she seemed like she was being forced to perform.

Vivian was going mad with jealousy. She wanted to display her dancing skills fully but couldn't help watching those two behind her.

Sarah looked at Vivian with confusion, and Zachary was equally puzzled.

"If you have something to say, say it here," Zachary said coldly.

Vivian seemed not to have expected Zachary to refuse so decisively and quickly added, "It's business—just for a moment."

"Why don't you go?" Sarah said. She was very curious about what Vivian wanted to say.

Zachary understood her thoughts and nodded.

Zachary was called away by Vivian, and the two stood facing each other in the back garden.

"Why do you treat me this way?" Vivian asked with tears in her voice, looking at Zachary's callous expression with unwillingness, her heart like dead ashes.

Zachary looked at Vivian with some impatience. "Miss Wilson, I don't seem to have done anything to you."
