Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 798

Zachary laughed. "I'm afraid there's no real affection there—it's more about unwillingness to accept defeat. Vivian has been spoiled since childhood. Whatever she wanted would appear on the table the next day, but when it came to me, she never got what she wanted."

Sarah asked in confusion, "It sounds like you're talking about her, but why do I feel like you're bragging about yourself?"

Zachary neither confirmed nor denied it, but thought of someone else. "That Mr. Spencer doesn't look simple. Stay away from him."

Only then did Sarah think about the man who had come downstairs with Vivian earlier. He wore a gentle smile, but it always seemed like the deepest malice was hidden beneath that layer of smiles. He was indeed no simple character.

"Does he like Vivian?" There was no other reason to help the Wilson family like this.

Zachary shook his head and said gravely, "Not necessarily. He's just a wolf in sheep's clothing with heavy scheming. I don't think he likes Vivian at all. So what does he really want?"

Suddenly, the lights went out, and the entire venue became as dark as night.

The next second, "Happy Birthday" began playing, and Mr. Spencer pushed out a 1m tall cake from the darkness. The eight-tiered cake gave off a sickeningly sweet aroma.

Everyone was wondering who this man was.

"Could it be Miss Wilson's new flame?"

"These people are really interesting—Zachary brought a female companion, and Miss Wilson has a male companion too."

"Could they have broken up peacefully? But this man looks quite outstanding too."

"Come on, you guys don't even know? That's Leon Spencer from the Spencer family in Country H—big family, big influence."

Hearing these discussions, Charlotte also focused her gaze on Leon. His exquisite suit, refined cufflinks—everything displayed understated luxury. Such a man was enough to rival Zachary.

Vivian placed her hand on his and nodded gracefully.

Leon’s other hand clasped her waist as they began dancing elegantly.

On the other side, Zachary was also inviting Sarah. Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, she placed her hand on Zachary's shoulder, and they too began dancing.

Others joined in, but Sarah was so dazzling that people dancing near her kept glancing over.

Zachary's aura was in full force, seeming to envelop Sarah, making certain overly enthusiastic people quickly restrain themselves.

Watching the dancing figures, Charlotte was restless—she wanted to dance with James too.

During ten months of pregnancy, she had nearly gone crazy with boredom, and the postpartum confinement had confined her to bed. She had forgotten all about romance.
