Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 752

By this point, Judy was in tears.

At Wilson Corporation, Vivian trembled as she watched the woman on screen, her face filled with despair.

One wrong step had led to another. She never imagined that a single impulsive decision would cause her so much trouble.

She frantically dialed a number. "Stop the livestream! Stop it right now!"

Her nearly hysterical voice filled the person on the other end with tension.

The platform manager hung up after giving empty assurances, while another person asked, "Manager, should we stop the livestream?"

"Stop it? Hell no!"

"But that was Miss Wilson who just called."

The manager snorted. "Mr. Reynolds called two minutes before her."

On screen, Judy continued speaking, "I'll never forget what that woman said when she met us. She told Yvonne, 'You must die at the Pine Mist Island Resort, and you must be completely, undeniably dead.' We went to Pine Mist Island, and at the height of our fun, we returned to the hotel. We chose that specific time because room service would arrive right after we got back to our rooms. But we never expected that timing would become our biggest flaw—and the toilet too. I never imagined that the cleaning schedule would be at that exact time, or that high-end hotels would have special flower-shaped toilet brushes."

She was sobbing uncontrollably now. "I failed Yvonne, but money blinds people. Money is too easy to spend. The moment I stepped into that mall—someone who had never experienced luxury before—I knew that one million wasn't much at all. I spent it all in just one day, which is why I... why I went after the hospital money."

Sarah calmly continued questioning her, "How did you know who that woman was?"

"Because I'd seen her on TV. She's the eldest daughter of the Wilson family. She appears in financial news all the time. Wasn't there also recent news about her canceled engagement with the Reynolds family? Of course I knew it was her. She's beautiful—hard to forget once you've seen her," Judy said with certainty.

The livestream cut off. Vivian closed the broadcast, wondering why it hadn't been stopped earlier.

"Ms. Wilson, you—"

"Get out of my way!" she snapped.

No one dared stop her as she rushed to her car and sped away from Wilson Corporation toward the Wilson family home.

Meanwhile, Charlotte watched with intense satisfaction. All the ways Vivian had used her came flooding back in this moment.

That woman finally had no scapegoat. Even someone with such careful planning could leave weaknesses when acting impulsively, and this weakness was enough to ruin her completely.

Mrs. Chancer pushed open her door, carrying a child in her arms. "Charlotte, my grandson is hungry. Hurry and feed him."

She continued muttering, "I feel like you're not producing enough milk. I'll have the housekeeper make you some special lactation foods later. You must eat everything without leaving a single bite, so my grandson has enough milk to drink."
