Ready to Rule: The Real Heiress Strikes Back novel Chapter 919

Some universities and academic institutions use an A++ grade for things like subject evaluations or paper reviews. It’s their way of saying a field or a piece of work is truly the best of the best.

So how did Lydia, a total newcomer to medicine, end up with an A++? That just didn’t make sense.

“No way!” Daisy blurted, her eyes wide with disbelief.

She wasn’t the only one. Every student in the room looked stunned, and even the judges on the panel seemed skeptical.

Well, everyone except Desmond.

Desmond already knew Lydia’s secret. She was Miracle Hands. If he hadn’t known that, he probably would have been just as shocked as the rest of them. Looking around at everyone’s faces, Desmond remembered his own reaction when he first found out who Lydia really was.

But right now, what he wanted most was to see what Lydia had actually submitted.

“How can this be?” Dominick muttered, shaking his head like he just couldn’t wrap his mind around it. He shot a suspicious look at the two professors from Capital College.

“Angelo, Stellan, are you sure your grading system isn’t acting up?”

If Lydia was this talented, there was no way he wouldn’t have heard about it. It wasn’t just him. No one at Capital Med School knew Lydia had that kind of ability. It had to be a mistake with the system. That was the only explanation.

Angelo and Stellan fumbled for words, looking just as lost as everyone else.

“Well, maybe… I guess it’s possible the system glitched,” Angelo offered, not sounding the least bit convinced.

They both doubted Lydia could ever get an A++. Daisy was already famous as a medical prodigy. She’d even joined the International Medical Association. If Daisy hadn’t earned an A++, how could Lydia pull it off?

It just didn’t add up.

Lydia.

Lydia…

Suddenly, a shock ran through him, and his eyes went wide. Could it really be her? Was it possible?

“Dr. Donley, are you okay?” Angelo asked, noticing the look on his face.

Dr. Donley snapped back, suddenly excited. “Angelo, you know what they say—there’s always someone even more talented out there. Maybe Lydia really is that rare genius.”

Angelo and Stellan exchanged a look of exasperation. Were they all just obsessed with finding the next big genius? How many world-changing prodigies could there really be?

Desmond gave a little shrug. “The answers will be here any minute. Once we see them, we’ll know for sure if Lydia is the real deal.”
