Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 934

Hearing Calvin's voice, Emily was stupified.

Simon raised his eyebrows as if to remind her kindly, "It sounds like Calvin's voice!"

Emily already noticed it. But she didn't expect that Calvin would come so early.

For some reason, she felt a sense of shame as if she had been caught committing adultery, even though she had not done anything wrong!

Simon took off the blanket on him and lazily stood up from the sofa. He walked up to her, rubbing his chin, and said, "Emily, do you need me to hide for a while? In the bathroom or the cabinet?"

Simon looked at her with a playful and meaningful smile.

His face looked as if he were waiting to see a good show, which made Emily feel very annoyed!

"Oh, but I think hiding under the bed should be the safest way!" After saying that, Simon was going to step into the bedroom with his hands in his pockets and his lips up.

Emily stretched out her hand and grabbed Simon's sleeve.

Taking a deep breath, she said with her teeth gritted, "No need!"

As soon as she finished her words, she strode toward the door. Behind her, Simon's face looked a bit stiff.

As soon as Emily opened the door, she saw Calvin standing there with a smile and warm face.

"Am I too early? Did you sleep well?"

"It was okay!"

Calvin showed the warm lunch box in his hand and said, "The breakfast shop nearby is selling good steamed buns. I just sent a friend home and thought that I could bring breakfast for you!"

Emily nodded and invited Calvin in.

Calvin walked in with a smile and bent over to change his shoes into slippers. When he saw Simon standing inside, he looked shocked.

"Mr. Chin?"

Calvin frowned slightly and looked at Emily.

Emily licked her lips and explained, "Last night, he was very drunk and was sent to my place by the designated driver. At that time, I had no choice but to let him sleep on the sofa!"

"So that's how it is!" Calvin's look relaxed a little.

Emily turned her head, looked at Simon, who was squinting his eyes, and said, "Simon, you should be sober now. You can leave!"

Simon stood there with his hands in his pockets, looking gloomy.

In the dazzling morning light, the atmosphere was silent as a grave.

Suddenly, Simon's phone rang. Simon picked it up and said, "Got it. I'm going back to the hospital now!"

After finishing the call, Simon walked through Emily and Calvin with a gloomy face.

As the door was closed, Emily let out a breath of relief.

Anthea was on the night shift and would not come back for a while. Emily and Calvin were alone in the house. She took two empty bowls and plates from the kitchen and put the breakfast in them.

Emily lowered her head, looked at the porridge in the bowl, and said in a low voice, "Perhaps he can't give up on me. Maybe he has a man's possessiveness. He doesn't want me to marry another man. When we get married, everything will be okay. By then, he will accept reality!"

"Right!" Calvin smiled and said jokingly, "Don't worry, I am not jealous!"

"Calvin, I feel happy and relaxed with you!" Emily looked at Calvin, who was smiling warmly and also smiled, "You need a wife, and I want to forget my past. We don't have any love foundation, so there won't be any harm. In the future, our marriage will be happy and simple without too many ups and downs. We would be the best friend for each other!"

Calvin heard the words with a hint of bitterness flashed in his eyes. He raised the corner of his mouth and urged, "Eat, it will be cold later!"

Emily nodded. Then both of them continued to eat.

Although the steamed buns were a little cold, they tasted good. The soup in the fillings was rich, with fresh meat and corns. There was a sweet taste in the salty flavor, which was quite tasty.

After Emily finished her porridge, Calvin stood up to clean up the table.

When Calvin came out of the kitchen, he smiled at Emily and said, "Emily, there's something I want to give you."

"What is it?" Emily was surprised.

Calvin walked to her, reached into his coat, and took out a small red velvet box from his inner pocket.

By the look of the box, Emily could guess what it was.

Calvin opened the box, and a diamond ring was lying inside. It was not exaggerated, not too big, not too small, just perfect. The diamond was perfectly cut, reflecting bright light.

She asked, "A diamond ring?"

"Yes!" Calvin looked at her gently. Under the light of the diamond ring, his smile became even warmer, "Although you are already my fiancee, I need to give you a ring! All the comrades in the army said that I have a dull character, that I am not good at being romantic. And I had never proposed before. I wanted to make a grand proposal to you, but I was afraid that you would feel pressure, so I think I'd better give it to you like this to make a simple proposal!"
