Not wanting Keith to continue the discussion, she then quickly added, “That aside, your secretary told me that you wanted to talk to me about something… What is it?”

After looking at the girl’s complicated expression for a while, Keith—who was staring deeply at her from under his gold-rimmed glasses—decided not to pry any further. Instead, he simply replied, “Well, my suit is torn, so could you help me stitch it back up?”

Taking his suit off, he then showed her the rather large tear in his white shirt’s armhole. It was also then when Xavia noticed the scratch on his arm. This prompted the worried woman to say, “You got hurt…?”

“It’s no big deal. Essentially, my shirt caught on a nail while I was moving about at the construction site. Again, I wouldn’t worry about the wound, but this shirt… was custom-made by my mother for my birthday…” replied Keith.

Xavia, for one, hadn’t expected Keith to be this sentimental. Regardless, she then stood up before saying, “Well, if I’m to patch it up, you need to take the shirt off. Speaking of which, you’ll only get my help if you apply some medicine on that wound first. With this scorching weather, it’d be bad if that wound got infected…”

“Alright, alright… There’s an emergency medical kit under the desk…” muttered the defeated Keith as he took his shirt off and placed it aside.

Quickly getting the kit, she then stood beside him and began patching the wound up… With how careful and gentle her hands were, it made Keith feel that the experience was extremely different compared to how doctors and nurses usually handled his wounds.

The thought of that made Keith’s gaze deepen. Never before had a woman treated him this thoughtfully. This girl was incomparable to Jenna who only demanded things from him and never treated him with care…

Shaking the thought off, he then bit into one of the sushi rolls, and it simply melted in his mouth. This reminded Keith that no other woman had personally cooked for him either. Though Xavia was just focused on returning his favor, she was incredibly sincere about it…

Upon seeing the bare-chested Keith being all affectionate with Xavia, Zivon’s glare turned frigid as he growled, “…It seems I’ve come at a bad time.”

Xavia herself quickly lowered her head before finally applying the band-aid on the wound. Following that, she was prompted to say, “Well, I’m done for now. I’ll be heading to the store across the street to get some needle and thread to patch your shirt up. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your meal.”

With that said, the girl then ran off. On her way out, however, her shoulder brushed against Zivon’s. Upon staring at her, he could see the utter panic in her eyes. With her cheeks tinted red, it was clear that the girl was so embarrassed that she couldn’t even walk straight. What on earth had Keith done to her for her to display such an emotion…?

Regardless, Keith was clearly annoyed for being interrupted during his intimate moments with Xavia. This prompted him to ask, “What brings you here, Uncle Zivon?”

When he saw Keith’s expression, Zivon simply grew even more pissed…!
