Following that, everyone turned to stare at Fiona as they asked, “Mrs. Burton has already explained herself, has she not, Dr. Squire? Why are you still unwilling to believe her?”

“Could you be trying so hard to sabotage their relationship because you secretly like Young Master Burton?”

“Come to think of it, there’s a high chance that you’re the one who leaked the news out, right?”

“I’m thinking the same thing as well!”

D*mn it! Xavia was the one who was supposed to be making a fool of herself! Not her! Feeling pissed, Xavia then gritted her teeth in anger before scoffing, “W-what are you even talking about?! It was just a question!”

Following that, Fiona stomped away without saying another word. Xavia, on the other hand, continued staring at the leaving woman till she was out of sight, a darkened expression on her face.

Honestly, she never wanted any trouble. However, if she didn’t fight back a little, Fiona was just going to get more and more daring with her bullying. With that in mind, Xavia was no longer going to continue being polite if Fiona tried anything funny again in the future…

Meanwhile, Dylan—who was in a luxurious living room with Keith—was angrily slamming a tablet onto Keith’s chest, glaring at him as he growled, “Just look at this news! What the hell were you doing?! Out of all the people you could mess with, why did it have to be her?!”

The tablet itself was rather big, so Keith couldn’t help but flinch slightly from the pain. Regardless, after looking at the news, Keith calmly replied, “Dad, it’s clear as day that someone is trying to make me look bad. Don’t worry, I’ll deal with this.”

“And how exactly are you planning to deal with it? A woman being a third party is one thing, but a dignified man?! Couldn’t you just have looked for some other woman?! Just look at what the people are saying about you now! Do you really want all my reputation to go down the drain?! Screw you causing more trouble for me! Just let me deal with this!” grumbled Dylan, his face now flushed red.

Following that, Dylan fished his phone out before making a call to his secretary. Once it connected, Dylan then added, “How goes the investigation on Jenna?”

“Will do, dad…” said Keith as he turned around to leave.

Before he was even able to step out of the house, however, he was greeted by the sight of his secretary. Upon seeing him, the secretary was prompted to say, “Ah, young master. I’ve done as you instructed and located the person who got the reporter to leak the news. However, do note that the other party was simply using a fake account, and we haven’t been able to get any relevant information from it. With that said, I believe that the mastermind was prepared for this, so it’ll be rather difficult for us to learn anything new anytime soon.”

“In my opinion, we should release the news about the hater that Young Master Burton had previously found so that we can prevent this news—that’ll definitely leave a bad impact on you—from spreading too quickly,” advised the secretary.

Adjusting his glasses, Keith then replied, “There’s no need to be so anxious. I know who the mastermind is.”

Understandably startled to hear that, the secretary then said, “…Huh? Who, young master?”
