Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 363

“I’ll be off then!” declared the secretary before disappearing in the dark of night…

Naturally, Xavia was completely oblivious to the dangers that were about to befall her. With that in mind, she simply focused on giving Ava her massage. With how skilled she was at massaging, Ava found herself drifting to sleep in less than half an hour…

This, of course, made Louis overjoyed. Once Xavia covered Ava with a quilt, Louis immediately pulled Xavia out of the room—making sure to close the door behind her—before saying, “You’re amazing, Miss Lockhart! To think you could make Lady Burton fall asleep this quickly! Could you please teach me your divine massaging techniques?”

Nodding in response, Xavia then replied, “Of course, but not tonight. It’s already pretty late. I’ll teach you some other day when it’s light outside.”

“I appreciate it! Now do return to your room to get some rest, Miss Lockhart!”

“Likewise,” replied Xavia before walking out the hallway and preparing to head upstairs. Unfortunately, on her way there, she bumped into Keith who was just re-entering the house. Looking as distinguished as ever, the gentle-looking Keith had a plain, dark suit on, as well as gold-rimmed glasses.

Regardless, the embarrassed Xavia’s first thought was to hide. However, when she thought about how he had helped her last time—as well as how she had agreed to maintain their relationship for the time being—, Xavia forced on a smile before saying, “It’s rather late, is it not, Young Master Keith? Please take better care of your health and get some good rest.”

Upon hearing that, Keith turned to look at the Jenna lookalike. Despite being a mirror image of Jenna, Xavia honestly seemed lovelier and more innocent compared to her. So, Uncle Zivon liked people with Xavia’s personality more, huh…

Honestly, this situation wasn’t all that bad. After all, Zivon was bound to lose his reputation for falling in love with his wife’s younger sister. Once that happened, Keith could simply take advantage of the situation by protecting Jenna and being by her side. If he played his cards right, Keith could truly kill two birds with one stone.

Shaking the thought off, Keith then replied, “Indeed… You should return to your room to get some rest as well, Aunt-in-law. Speaking of which, do make sure to take good care of Uncle Zivon. After all, he has it quite hard, working day in and day out. He has to keep a constant eye on the news as well…”

After hearing that, Xavia couldn’t help but frown. Was… Keith not going to tease her like he usually did…? Why did it almost sound like Keith truly cared about Jenna…? Had he lost interest in causing her trouble at home…? Whatever the case was, Xavia simply nodded before saying, “…I will. Also, thank you for what happened last night… Good night.”

Before Xavia could reply, Zivon was already making his way downstairs. Naturally, this left Xavia flabbergasted. To think that he’d still be this cold to her when she was showing her concern! If he wanted to go alone so much, so be it! See if she cared!

Realizing that their relationship wasn’t the closest, Keith saw the perfect opportunity to say, “Uncle Zivon, we all know that your stomach was never the strongest. With that said, you should really let Aunt-in-law accompany you, just in case you start experiencing gastrointestinal bleeding or something else on your way there… Also, I’ll take good care of Maison when you’re gone, if that’s what you’re worried about, aunt-in-law.”

Though Xavia had already got to the stairs by that point, the second she heard ‘gastrointestinal bleeding,’ she immediately froze. Since she was playing the role of his wife now, she couldn’t just ignore Zivon after Keith said that… What more, that man was still Maison’s father…

Understanding that, Xavia then sighed before retracing her steps and supporting Zivon up once more while saying, “…Come on, let’s go together. We don’t need to wake grandma and the rest of the family up for this…”

While Zivon wanted to protest, an acute pain in his stomach made him flinch as he tightly grabbed onto Xavia’s small hand…
