Looking at Xavia with a serious gaze, Zivon—who didn’t want Xavia to have any more contact with his family—then said, “You’re not exactly a masseur. With that said, don’t go giving grandma massages if you don’t know what you’re doing.”
Clearly not getting his underlying message, Xavia confidently replied, “Oh, you don’t need to worry about that. I often massaged my grandmother as a child. She enjoyed it so much that she ended up praising me a lot. In fact, she even said that my massages felt better than the ones given by masseurs!”
Upon hearing that, Ava couldn’t help but frown as she said, “…Grandma? Hasn’t… she passed away ages ago…?”
Cr*p. She had nearly exposed herself again! Keeping her cool, Xavia then quickly replied, “…Oh! Well, I used to visit my friend’s place all the time, and I got on good terms with her grandmother. In the end, we got so friendly with each other that I simply started calling her grandmother!”
“…I see! What a kind person you are… Able to get along with just about anyone… Either way, let’s go. Give me that massage of yours so that I can see if you’re really as good as your friend’s grandma says you are…” said Ava with a smile.
After nodding at Ava in agreement, Xavia then faced Zivon before replying, “Well, I’m off to give grandma her massage. Since you’ve had a busy day today, you should head to bed early, Zivon. No need to wait for me. I’ll come over once I finish my massage and grandma falls asleep.”
Though the words sounded kind, Xavia was simply happy that she didn’t need to be alone with him. Understanding that, Zivon simply grunted coldly before heading upstairs…
Seeing that, Ava was prompted to say, “Zivon’s always been like this… Cold and indifferent… Thank god you understand and treat him as you’ve always done, Jenna…”
“Indeed… Perhaps it’s because appearance and status are above all…” muttered Xavia. If Zivon didn’t have that, then knowing Jenna’s personality, she probably wasn’t going to be able to take more than a few years with him…
“…Hmm? Come again?” replied Ava who thankfully hadn’t heard what Xavia said.
Understanding that, Xavia quickly smiled before saying, “It’s nothing. Now let’s hurry back to your room.”
“Alright,” replied Ava as the duo left the courtyard…
Hearing that, Charles then added, “It’s been so long too… If something fishy was really up, I guess they should’ve messed up by now…”
“Now hold on a moment, Master and Young Master… I did manage to find something that was suspicious enough to be noteworthy…” interrupted the secretary as he fished his cell phone out before displaying a surveillance video from the clubhouse’s hallway.
“Here, you can see a distressed Bianca bumping into Jenna and asking her for help. However, Jenna appears to not know who she is, even going so far as to ask what Bianca’s name was! From what I know, Young Master Burton and Young Master Saltman are quite close, so it’s only fair to assume that Jenna should have met Bianca plenty of times,” added the secretary.
“…You’re right! Hell, it’s impossible for Jenna not to know who Bianca is due to the Jourdain and Lockhart family’s relationship! Then… were we right after all? It definitely seems so!” exclaimed Dylan as he stared at the screen.
Charles himself looked absolutely delighted as he replied, “Indeed! This is solid proof that she isn’t really Jenna! We now have solid evidence…! Though… She still looks identical to her… What’s that imposter’s true identity…?”
Upon hearing that, Dylan turned to face the secretary before saying, “Start investigating who that person really is. The sooner we find out who she is, the faster we’ll be able to crack the case!”
