“...In what way does that count as compensation?” grumbled the blushing Fabiola.
Chuckling in response, Hanley replied, “I mean, normally I’d give more, but… As punishment, I’ll restrict myself to only one…”
Despite his romantic sentiment, Fabiola pursed her lips before saying, “…Denied! If you aren’t going to suggest a proper one, then how about you go mountain climbing with me?”
Raising a slight brow, Hanley took a while before replying, “…I still have things to attend to today, so… Could we hold it off till tomorrow?”
Though slightly displeased with his answer, Fabiola eventually said, “…Fine. But it has to be tomorrow!”
Smiling in response, Hanley replied, “Appreciated, Your Highness…”
Knowing better than to continue bothering him, Fabiola then left him alone… But it was around noon when news about him caught her attention again.
Fabiola had been idly browsing through social media at the time when suddenly, there was breaking news regarding Hanley and Layla!
Essentially, the duo had attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Darlsbury’s largest bookstore, and with Hanley dressed in a fine suit and Layla in her gorgeous dress, the two looked like a match made in heaven. Adding that to the fact that the two were giving a speech in fluent French, the people of the internet were quick to leave all sorts of comments in the comment section…
‘Man, those two were made for each other!’
Quickly accessing her surroundings, she was at least lucky enough to be within close proximity of a cabin… and just seconds after she had made it inside, the avalanche came crashing against it!
Since the cabin was quite old, it ended up collapsing under the weight of the snow… but thankfully, Fabiola had managed to curl up against a sturdy spot that prevented the snow from squashing her flat.
Though unharmed, she quickly realized that she had just been buried alive. After all, the snow wouldn’t budge at all! What’s more, she knew that if she moved too much, she could easily trigger another avalanche!
Feeling helpless, she began rummaging through her bag, hoping to call for help… But it was at that moment that she remembered that she had tossed her phone on the couch before coming over! Was… Was she seriously going to freeze to death here?!
