Before Brad left for Pittsbrew, he had Cameron do something rather immoral. He had Jack's grave dug up to extract DNA from his remains. Then, he sent it for comparison with Sean's.
Initially, Cameron was strongly opposed to the idea. After all, Jack had passed away. It was a huge disrespect to the dead.
Besides, Jack had been dead for over six years, so there was no guarantee DNA could even be extracted from his remains. And even if they succeeded, Nadine would never forgive Brad if she found out.
At the time, Cameron tried every argument he could think of to dissuade Brad, but nothing worked. When Cameron refused to do it, Brad had planned to assign the task to one of his bodyguards. Fearing that they might disrespect Jack, Cameron reluctantly took on the grim task himself.
Days turned into weeks, and he almost forgot about this. It all came rushing back when the lab called and asked him to collect the results. After getting the results, he immediately called Brad. "Mr. Hamilton, if the results aren't what you hoped for, you'd better be ready to handle it."
At that moment, Cameron felt extremely anxious. He wasn't even sure if he should read the results aloud. He couldn't believe that the lab had managed to extract a complete DNA profile from Jack's remains and compared it to Sean's.
After hearing that, Brad frowned. "What's that supposed to mean? What are you implying?" But in his heart, he already knew. "Sean is that man's son, isn't he?" he asked Cameron.
Initially, all he knew about Jack was that he was a martyr, buried in the cemetery for fallen heroes. But as he delved deeper into Jack's past, a nagging question started to haunt him. "Could it be that Sean looks so much like me because he's Jack's son?"
