After organizing her notes, Nadine was about to go to bed. When she picked up her phone to check the time, she noticed several unread messages. Moving to open them, she found messages from Brad.

Brad: "Good evening. Have you gone to sleep?"

Brad: "Good evening, my friend!"

Brad: "Good evening, stranger."

Brad: "Good evening, person."

Brad: "Don't forget to attend my wedding tomorrow at 9:00 am, Nadine. Remember to bring a gift!"

Nadine went through all the messages again and pieced together what was going on. It turned out that he thought their relationship was drifting apart because she hadn't been replying.
