Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 388

"What's going on with the patient in Bed 19? Seizures? Frothing at the mouth?" Nadine asked. After hearing her colleague's response, she said, "Okay, I'll be there right away."

Without another word, Nadine hung up and dashed out.

Jean had been waiting outside. As soon as she saw Nadine leaving, she quickly retreated to another room. Once Nadine had gone, Jean emerged with a smirk and entered the bedroom.

Jean's smile widened when she saw Brad sleeping peacefully on the bed. She gently closed the door behind her, leaving it slightly ajar. Then, she approached the large bed, removed her hospital gown, and slipped under the covers next to Brad.

As she lay beside him, she admired his perfect profile with a satisfied expression.

Jean took out her phone, choosing an angle that could be easily misinterpreted, and took several photos. After snapping over 20 shots, she selected three that she liked and saved them to her phone's gallery.

Nadine rushed to Harborview Hospital as quickly as she could. In her haste, she hadn't had time to wash her face or remove her makeup, and she was still wearing the same purple evening gown.

Her colleague Alice stared at her in confusion. "Nadine, is that really you? Why are you dressed like this?"

It was Mariana and the neighbor, Sophie, who took Nadine in, raised her, and supported her education. Thus, Nadine rushed to the hospital without even changing her clothes when she heard that Sophie was in trouble.

Alice noticed Nadine's concern and quickly reassured her, "Nadine, don't worry. Madam Wilkinson only had food poisoning. The doctor has prescribed medication, and she's now receiving an IV drip. She has stopped vomiting."

Upon hearing Alice's reassurance, Nadine let out a sigh of relief. "Alice, thank you for the update. I'll treat you to coffee another day. I need to check on Sophie now," she said as she hurried toward Sophie's room.

When Nadine entered the general ward, she saw Sophie lying in bed with her eyes closed and an IV drip in her right hand. A family member from the adjacent bed was observing the IV closely. Seeing Nadine, she asked softly, "Are you a relative of Madam Wilkinson? She seems to be in serious condition."
