Boyle had sent Calum to pick Cherie up and bring her over to MO Group.
After Cherie entered Boyle's office, Calum said, "Madam, please wait here for a bit. Boss is still in a meeting and he'll be out in fifteen minutes."
Cherie sat on Boyle's chair, spun it around while she waited for Boyle.
Calum asked, "Madam, do you want some warm milk or juice?"
Cherie replied, "I feel like drinking coffee. I feel a little sleepy."
Calum hesitated for a brief moment before saying, "Um… madam, boss reminded me before to not allow you to drink any coffee because it's bad for your stomach."
"I'll have some milk then."
Calum was pleased as he said, "Alright, I'll get to it right away."
If the madam actually insisted on drinking coffee, he would have no idea who he should actually listen to.
It seemed the madam was extremely difficult to serve.
However, when Calum returned with her milk three minutes later, he noticed Cherie was gleefully munching on some chips.
The crumbs had even fallen onto Boyle's expensive carpet.
Calum was speechless.
Calum could not help but remind her, "Hey madam, you should know that boss is a huge germaphobe."
Cherie was stunned as she asked, "Really? He doesn't seem like one whenever he's with me."
He would often finish all of her unfinished food and he would also share the same straw with her whenever she drank milk tea. He would even eat her half eaten apples.
Would a germaphobe have done any of that?
"Boss is indeed a germaphobe. If there's even a single strand of hair on the carpet, he would have the janitor come over to clean it up."
Cherie took a glance at her greasy fingers and was a little speechless.
Calum handed her the glass of milk he brought for her and said, "Go ahead and drink some milk, madam. I'll clean up the carpet."
Cherie replied, "Alright."
After Calum was done cleaning the carpet, he stared intensely for three whole seconds at the pack of half-eaten barbeque flavored chips that was placed on the table which violated the company's regulations before reaching out and wanting to throw the pack of chips away.
However, Cherie reached out immediately and snatched the chips away before shielding it in her arms.
Calum was speechless.
'Fine, she doesn't want me to throw it away.'
Calum said, "Well then madam, you can go on ahead and take a break. I'll head out for now. If you continue eating the chips, the carpet will…"
He was basically hinting at her to be extra careful and try not to drop any crumbs on the carpet.
However, since the person just so happened to be Madam Lawson, he dared not speak his mind.
Cherie nodded sincerely before saying, "Go on ahead then, I won't eat the chips."
Calum let out a huge sigh of relief and said, "Alright, sure."
Cherie felt a little bored, so she laid on the desk while playing with her phone. She decided to send Boyle an emoji.
It was an annoyed rolled eyes emoji with the caption, [Your wife is waiting for you to take her out for a nice meal.]
Boyle was focused on his meeting and did not look at his phone.
After Cherie finished drinking her glass of milk, she was overwhelmed by her exhaustion and fell asleep while laying her head on Boyle's desk.
She dreamed that she had soiled Boyle's office carpet by dropping crumbs all over it while she was eating chips. Boyle scolded her for it and she decided to run away from home.
After that, Boyle spent a lot of effort to finally find her before making her come home with him.
It seemed it truly was a dream since Boyle would never scold her for eating chips and soiling his office’s carpet.
Cherie was laughing gleefully about it in her dream.
That was because she punished Boyle by making him kneel on peanut shells after returning home with him.
However in the end, she was also punished by Boyle but her punishment involved acts in bed.
Boyle immediately bolted straight to his office after his meeting was over.
Calum said, "Madam is waiting in your office right now, boss."
The instant he opened the door, he noticed Cherie sleeping soundly on his desk.
Calum stuttered, "Well…"
Cherie replied, "Maybe it's because your assistant mentioned that you're quite the germaphobe and that I should try my best not to drop any crumbs on the carpet while I ate chips. Hence, I dreamt that I've completely soiled your carpet with crumbs and you scolded me for it. After that, I was angry, so I decided to run away from home."
Boyle replied in a helpless tone, "Do you actually think that I'll scold you for that?"
Cherie still seemed to be in her daze as she leaned against Boyle's arms and spoke in a tired voice, "Calum said that you're a germaphobe but I only knew about you having OCD and you have to make sure everything is neat and tidy. However, I never knew about you being a germaphobe."
Not to mention, she helped him recover from his obsessive compulsive disorder.
Boyle lowered his head and kissed her forehead as he spoke in a soft tone, "I'm never a germaphobe whenever I'm with you. It will be extremely weird if you actually think that I'm a germaphobe."
"Exactly. We even share the same straw when we drink milk tea."
Boyle took a glance at the half eaten pack of chips on his desk and asked, "Calum actually dare tell you that you're not allowed to eat chips?"
"Not exactly. He only wanted me to watch the carpet."
Boyle replied, "If you want to eat, go ahead and eat it. The carpet doesn't matter."
Calum entered his office soon after with an urgent document from the New York's headquarters. He forgot that the madam was still inside and had also forgotten to knock on the door as he immediately entered.
However, he instantly noticed that the madam was munching on chips while sitting on his boss' lap. His boss was reading through some documents while hugging her.
The crumbs had fallen all over his boss' black jeans but his boss did not seem to care at all.
'This… this... man isn't a germaphobe at all! I've been lied to!'
…
A whole series of rumors started spreading around MO Group after that.
The rumors were about Boyle spoiling his wife and their relationship was incredibly strong.
After that, a secretary seemed to have ran into them when Cherie came over to visit again. She noticed that Boyle was stroking his wife's eyebrows.
There was also another occasion where another staff ran into them. Cherie was hugging Boyle while coquettishly calling out to Boyle. Boyle seemed to have lowered his head and even pointed at his cheeks asking for a kiss.
Boyle's cold and menacing image had been completely shattered after those occasions.
It turned out that Boyle was not a god and was nothing more than a normal man in front of Cherie.
Cherie had even changed her Twitter handle to, 'Boyle's Little Wifey' from her initial, 'Fudd Family's Little Jelly Bean.'
