Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 821

The Capital City University was one of the top universities not only in China but globally as well. Hence, they were very open-minded. The dormitory management allowed students to stay outside.

Cherie kept visiting Boyle’s house and one thing led to another. She started staying over at Boyle’s house more frequently. However, she knew her place as Hector also lived there as well and there was only one bathroom at home which made it somewhat inconvenient.

It was a Saturday night. Hector was leaning against Boyle’s door as he munched on his apple. “It's the weekend tomorrow. Is Cher coming over?”

“Why?”

“I’ll stay at the law firm tonight if she’s coming over to make room for you guys. I don’t want to be a third wheel just in case you want to get intimate.”

Boyle retorted coldly, “You’re aware that you’re the third wheel?”

“Yes. I’m such a good friend, right? Are you touched? I’m willing to sleep in the law firm’s small wooden bed just for you. I’ve sacrificed so much for you both so you must make me your best man when you get married.”

Getting married… Boyle was stunned upon hearing that.

Boyle stared at the stock chart on his computer as he said, “No matter whether she’s coming or not, you don’t have to leave tomorrow.”

“Are you guys going to get a room in a hotel?”

“No, I bought a house.”

Hector’s lips twitched. He was speechless.

What a wealthy guy.

He could afford to just simply buy a house in the capital?

“Ahem, Boyle, you really bought a house? Where is it?”

“It’s at the Greentown Area near Capital City University.”

Hector’s jaw dropped in awe, “What the f*ck? Houses in the Greentown Area are expensive. Plus, it’s near the University. I’m sure it’s worth at least forty thousand bucks per square foot. Where did you get so much money?”

Boyle responded, “I used up all the money I got from my scholarships and earned from my investments. Also, I borrowed fifty million from Huntley. It’s just enough for me to pay the full amount.”

Hector was speechless.

That was just life! You would always lose to maniacs like them!

Hector said, “If we had fewer maniacs like you in this world, I’m sure tons of girls would be chasing after me!”

Boyle smiled and said, “Help me move my stuff tomorrow.”

“Sure. Please don’t forget me when you become rich one day. If this continues, you’re going to be a young homeowner soon.”

Hector sighed as he thought to himself, ‘Comparison will kill your joy.’

He was still struggling in his career but his best buddy had already earned a fortune. He even owned a new house worth several million at this point.

Hector said, “Don’t forget me when you become successful.”

Boyle came to pick up Cherie on that weekend’s afternoon.

Cherie realized his bike was not heading toward the direction of his rented house. She tilted her head and asked, “Where are we going? Are we not going to your house?”

“Yes. However, it’s our house.”

Cherie did not know what was happening, neither did she know about the fact that he had splurged a few million to buy a new house.

Boyle brought her into the Greenwood Area. Confused, Cherie asked, “Boyle, what are we doing here? Do you have a friend living here?”

Boyle simply smiled without answering her question as he pulled her into the lift.

They arrived on the eighth floor and stopped in front of a house. Boyle stood behind Cherie as he held her hand and keyed in the passcode.

He leaned toward her and whispered in her ear, “The passcode is the date we first met at the Fudd family.”

Cherie turned around and wrapped her arms around Boyle’s neck. With a bright smile on her face, she said with certainty, “Boyle, I’m sure you’ll become a very successful person in the future. You might even be more successful than my dad.”

Boyle lightly patted her waist and said, “Let’s check out the house. This is a resale house but everything is pretty new in here. I thought the interior design was decent as well so I barely changed anything. See if there’s anything you’re not satisfied with and I’ll get somebody to fix it.”

Cherie looked around the place and said contentedly, “I think everything looks good. You don’t have to change anything.”

The house had two bedrooms and one living room but Boyle had turned one of the rooms into his study. He had placed Cherie’s piano inside that room.

“You can practice your piano any time you want.”

The girl smiled. “Boyle, why did you suddenly want to buy a house?”

Boyle answered, “Previously, Hector was living with me so I thought it might be a bit inconvenient for you to come over all the time. Moreover, that house was located quite far from your university, so it’d be somewhat troublesome for you to come all the way to practice your piano.”

Cherie was deeply touched upon hearing that. “So you spent all your savings to buy a house so that it’d be easier for me to practice the piano?”

She lifted her head and looked at him lovingly. Even if she was just staring at him with her beady eyes, he found it very seductive.

Boyle gulped as his eyes turned dark.

He carried her and placed her on the kitchen counter.

Cherie yelped as she was taken aback. She hugged his neck tighter.

The tall man stood in front of her as she sat on the kitchen counter. His slender fingers held the back of her neck firmly as he pushed his lips against hers.

The purpose of buying the house was not so much to make it convenient for her to practice piano, but he was making things more convenient for himself instead.

Boyle was not such a righteous person. In fact, he was also not a young and clueless teenager. He was a 25-year-old grown up and was more mature than people his age as he had experienced lots of family drama since young. As such, he had the mental age of a 30-year-old adult.

That was the first time he had ever loved a girl so much. Therefore, he wanted to be selfish and keep her captive. He wanted her all for himself. Sometimes, he even wanted her to stick close to him and only obey his words.

Buying a house was the most direct way to keep her captive.
