After New Year’s Day, the series, Our Youth that Yanny acted in previously as a small supporting character premiered online.
As the female lead, Sugar became quite famous. The male lead, on the other hand, was a newcomer, Hugh Boughner. He became extremely famous and was constantly trending on Twitter.
At first, Sugar looked down on Hugh because he was a newcomer. However, after the premiere of the series, seeing Hugh’s fame rising, she started interacting with him on Twitter.
Yanny was going through her Twitter feed and smiled looking at the interaction between them.
Although she was just a small supporting character, due to her character’s setting, she was stunning in it. Many remembered the fair and beautiful Kelly Tames played by her.
Yanny had the first wave of fans following her on Twitter. Although it was not much, her followers increased from 50,000 to about 80,000.
Seeing the comments on Twitter, it was all about Yanny’s beauty.
The series Beyond The Limits was another of Yanny’s opportunities. However, the premiere was in that year’s summer. Also, Yanny thought that after the series premiered, she would be attacked badly by Cameron Yaeger and the female lead’s fans on Twitter.
Whereas The Corpse might bring her good reviews, but she had to wait until the following year for it to premiere.
Yanny sent a message to her manager, Spring Zanderson, [Spring, is there any work for me recently?]
Spring replied, [Nope, Master Shayne instructed me to not arrange work for you at this point of time.]
Yanny sent a message to Shayne, [Master Shayne, why did you tell Spring to not arrange work for me?]
10 minutes or so later, Shayne replied, [Is work more important than being with me?] His tone was justified.
Yanny was speechless.
After another 10 minutes or so, Shayne sent another message, [I’m almost done with work. Let’s have dinner together.]
[There’s no food at home, so what do you feel like eating?]
[We’ll go out on a date tonight. I’ll pick you up later.]
Ever since they officially got together, Yanny had not had a proper date with Shayne.
Previously, Heather came over during New Year’s Day, missing their chance to rest. Shayne was always busy at the end of the year, so they never had the chance to go out on a proper date.
When Shayne reached the Blue Water Residential Area, he did not go up but waited for Yanny in the car.
After 20 minutes, Shayne called her and teased, “If you’re still not coming down, I’m going to go.”
Yanny came down with her phone in her hand.
Shayne saw her in a long beige coat walking toward him. She had exquisite yet simple make-up on her face with her lips bright red. She was immensely gorgeous.
Yanny opened the passenger seat door and got in. Shayne smiled at her. “We’re just having dinner but you have to spend more than an hour on make-up?”
Yanny was speechless. Shayne always spoke domineeringly. Even his eyes were always arrogant. Yanny blushed at his gaze.
“It was not that long.”
Shayne approached her. He gazed at her and finally laid his eyes on her red lips. “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”
Yanny looked at him, puzzled.
“You put on such red lipstick, so how can I kiss you later?”
Yanny was speechless.
Shayne did not kiss her, but saw that she was blushing from her ears. Only then did he smile in satisfaction and helped her put on her seat belt.
Yanny looked out of the window and sighed gently. She asked Shayne, “Where are we going for dinner?”
“How about the Cloud Restaurant at the World Trade Hotel?”
Yanny always heard that Cindy said the pastry chef in the Cloud Restaurant was a Michelin 5-Star. It was the ultimate pleasure on the tip of the tongue.
The guests that the Cloud Restaurant accepted were usually the wealthy and influential, from celebrities and models, to famous businessmen.
The waiter passed the menu over. “What would the two of you like to order?”
They looked at the menu together. Yanny ordered a few desserts to try, while Shayne ordered a main course.
When they finished ordering, Yanny turned around and saw two familiar faces. Shayne followed her gaze and saw a couple not far from them. He raised his eyebrows and asked, “You know them?”
It was Sugar and Hugh Boughner. They were the leads for the series, Our Youth.
“I can’t say I know them well but we’ve worked together before. Master Shayne, don’t you know Sugar?”
Yanny remembered that Sugar knew who Shayne was. That time when Shayne visited the film set, Sugar went up to greet him.
Shayne frowned and said, “I don’t remember. I don’t usually remember passerby’s faces.”
How forgetful.
Yanny muttered, “I did not expect that they would be together so soon.”
Previously on set, Sugar disliked Hugh for being a newcomer with no experience or resources. Now that Hugh was famous, Sugar quickly turned around and pursued him.
“You like the guy?” Shayne looked at her eyes and asked.
Yanny was stunned. She shook her head and said, “Nope.”
Hugh Boughner had a babyface. Truth be told, Yanny did not like those type of seemingly weak guys with baby faces. They were too dewy-eyed and lacked a manly aura.
“Then why are you staring at him?” Shayne stretched his arms, pinched her chin, and turned her face back to him. “Isn’t it enough looking at me?”
Yanny looked at him and said, “You do look better than him.”
“What do you mean by that? Are you putting him and me in the same category?”
Yanny was speechless. ‘This man sure is arrogant.’
