After the summer holiday was over, Yanny was able to smoothly enroll herself into North City Film Academy all thanks to Shayne's connections. She was studying theatre and acting there.
Most of the A-list celebrities all graduated from the North City Film Academy.
Although North City Film Academy was not as impressive as Oxford University, it was still a very professional and famous film academy.
Anyone who could enroll into North City Film Academy, regardless if they were academically gifted or from their stunning appearances, the worst student would still stand out as one of the top people in comparison to common folk.
Yanny was accepted into the academy with her outstanding grades in arts.
Moreover, her stunning appearance alone had caught the attention of plenty of people the instant she entered the academy.
It seemed Cindy was the happiest for Yanny when she found out about her being accepted into North City Film Academy.
Cindy applied for a journalism program in North City University and it was located directly opposite to North City Film Academy. Their campuses were only separated by a single road.
It seemed there was a saying in North City University and that was if anyone wanted to look for a girlfriend, they should just head over to North City Film Academy since most women there were extremely beautiful with long legs and huge perky breasts.
It was unsure how the news about Yanny being accepted into North City Film Academy made its way to the Jacob family.
After the military style orientation was done on the first day of school, members from the Jacob family were all crowding by the entrance just to meet Yanny.
Winson asked with a frown, "Are you planning to pursue a career in acting in the future for attending North City Film Academy?"
Disdain was written all over his face.
Yanny was still wearing her army cap from her military style orientation from earlier. She did not seem agitated at all as she simply replied with a neutral look, "If I recall correctly, we have already cut ties with each other a month ago. Hence, regardless of which university I attend or what I end up doing, it has absolutely nothing to do with you, Mr. Jacob."
Winson's face was so furious that his face was flustered as he exclaimed, "You… unruly child!"
Yanny toyed with her long messy hair beside her ears as she said, "It's not a glorious thing to do to be yelling in front of the school's entrance. I'll have you know that I'm already numb to the term, 'unruly child'. Anyway, if there's nothing else, I'll be on my way."
"So you are aware of how embarrassing of a scene this is!"
Yanny completely ignored him. However, a black Bentley was slowly pulling up to the school's entrance soon after that.
It stopped in front of Yanny.
The car plate number stood out like a sore thumb since there were only four nines on the number plate. It belonged to the Jinn family.
A businessman dressed in black suit soon got out of the car. He then opened the door to the back seat as he politely greeted Yanny, "Please get in the car, Miss Joy."
Winson frowned harder as he asked, "How did you even get acquainted with the Jinn family in the first place…"
Jake stopped Winson just as he was about to step forward to grab Yanny. Jake spoke in a formal tone, "Mr. Jacob, Miss Joy happens to be President Jinn's friend."
Yanny shut the door immediately after she got in the car.
Winson's bitter look could be seen through the window.
…
While the black Bentley was driving steadily on the road, Yanny asked, "Say Assistant Jake, why does Shayne want to meet me?"
Jake replied, "I'm not sure as well but you'll find out when you meet President Jinn later."
She felt incredibly nervous throughout the entire drive.
Upon arriving at the Luna Mansion and just as Yanny was about to change into her slippers after entering the house, she was suddenly startled by Shayne when his voice echoed from behind her.
"A military style orientation?" Shayne exclaimed with his brows slightly raised.
Yanny was dressed in her military fatigues as she did not have the time to change out of it yet. She nodded and said, "Yeah, the military training will basically continue for half a month in the university."
While Shayne was walking toward his couch, he said, "Don't you get yourself tanned now. I don't like girls with a darker skin tone."
'They look awful.'
Yanny was speechless.
'He cares this much about a person's appearance?'
Yanny instinctively looked at her reflection through the window as she thought to herself, 'Even if I'm tan, I don't think I'd be considered as ugly.'
Shayne picked up a set of keys from his coffee table and handed it to her as he said, "This set of keys belong to the single unit apartment by River Road. It's nearby North City Film Academy. You can move into it."
Yanny was a little stunned and did not accept the keys.
Shayne raised his brows and said, "Look, this isn't free for you. You'll have to repay everything back to me with interest in the future. My purpose of giving you this apartment is to hope that we won't be meeting each other every single day. I hope that we can have our own personal space. That way, our relationship will stay fresh and interesting."
She had always been independent after her mother's passing. Lina was cruel to her while Winson would sometimes be out on business trips. Since she would not share a meal with Lina and her daughter, she would have to cook her own food and do everything by herself.
Thus, her cooking skills were somewhat impressive.
However… after Shayne sliced into a piece of steak and ate it, he had a slight frown while he chewed as he critiqued, "It's overcooked."
Yanny decided to taste it herself. It was cooked to medium rare and was juicy. It tasted just right to her.
'This man sure is picky.'
However, Yanny replied in a patient tone, "I'll cook it better next time."
It was quite the learning curve for her to serve her master well.
Due to the scorching summer heat and her just going through military training earlier in the day, she did not have much of an appetite to eat, so she was eating at a slower pace.
When Shayne was nearly done with his meal, he wiped his mouth, got up and walked by her as he simply teased, "You should eat a little more. I won't be responsible if you pass out later."
The corners of Yanny's mouth twitched.
She then violently stabbed the piece of steak with her fork and shoved it into her mouth.
Yanny pouted her lips when she noticed Shayne's empty plate.
'He cleaned his plate even after commenting about the steak being overcooked. He sure is something alright.'
After Yanny cleaned up the dining table and was done washing herself up, she noticed Shayne still working in his study. She decided to head over into her bedroom.
Perhaps she was too exhausted from the military training as the instant she laid on top of the huge soft bed, it did not matter whose home she was in or whose bed she was sleeping in, it did not take her long to drift away into her dreams.
By the time Shayne returned to the bedroom after he was done working, it was already eleven. He immediately noticed Yanny who was already sound asleep when he entered the room.
The man strode over, sat on the bed, reached out and gently caressed the woman's soft thick hair.
When the woman somewhat noticed that someone was touching her in her dreams, she raised her hand to grab the man's arm before mumbling in a soft tone, "Samuel."
Shayne's expression dimmed a little.
It seemed the woman who was sleeping on his bed was calling out another man's name.
