Obsession novel Chapter 9

I needed to know why I had this tattoo on my neck. I would never put a tattoo like this on my body.

And it was five stars resembling evil and a goat head. What's happening to me? I quickly got dressed and brushed my teeth. I left my hair loose and I ran downstairs. It was raining hard. Maybe even storming.

I needed to see a religious person, or atleast a pastor or priest. I ran to the front desk. The lady looked at me and smiled.

"What can I do for you dear?" She asks and I shake my head.

"I need to see a pastor or something." I say and she raises her eyebrow.

"And why would you want to do that?" She asks.

"It's personal, now tell me where I can find him." I say and she sighs.

"Go outside and a little further on behind the school is a small church." She smiles at me and I run out.

I needed to know why I had this tattoo. I feel different and I feel cold.

I stopped in front of the church and I walked inside. There was nobody inside, so I ran to the pastors office. The door was closed and I started knocking like a mad man.

I heard a 'come in' and I walked inside. The pastor looked at me and gulped.

"Hi." I say and he grabbed his Bible like he'd just seen a ghost. He looked terrified, and I didn't know why. I looked behind me and it was nothing. He was terrified of me.

"What are you doing here?" He asks and I sigh.

"Please, I need your help. I need answers." I say and he sighs.

"You don't know?" He asks and I shrug.

"Know what?" I ask and he looks me dead in the eyes.

"My dear, you're wearing the mark of the beast." He says and I shake my head.

"How? Why? Why me? What did I do to get it? How do I remove it?" I ask, panicking.

"Calm down now." He says and I look down.

"I don't know why, but all I can say is that you need to find help, and do it now." He says and I nod.

"Whose willing to help me?" I ask and he hands me a number.

"Call her and ask her." He says.

"Thank you." I say and he nods.

"Please child, get help before it's too late." He says and he stands by the door, waiting for me to leave.

"It's fine if you don't wanna talk about it." He says and I nod.

He takes off his jacket and puts it over my shoulder.

"Why you crying though?" He asks and I look up at him.

"If I tell you you'll think I'm crazy." I say and he lifts my chin, so I could look into his eyes.

"I won't ever." He kisses my cheek.

"I need a lift to somebody's house. Except I don't know where that is." I say and he nods.

"I'll be more than happy to take you." Grayson says and I shake my head.

"I couldn't do that to you." I say and he chuckles darkly

"Trust me, you could." He gives me an evil smile that send's chills down my body.

Something about him was off. I can't put my finger on it.

I nod and he puts his arms around my waist and we walk to the garage. He opens the garage door and in front of me was a beautiful black mustang with red rims. The number plate read 'Grayson.d'.
