We were in Grayson's car as he was driving to the house. This town is lonely and creepy as fuck. I don't know why anybody would want to live here. He drove through a crappy driveway and stopped at an old cabin.
"Should I climb out with you?" He asks and I shake my head.
"I think it's better if you don't, it's kind of a messed up story." I say and he nods.
"Alright. If you need anything, I'm right here, just scream." He says and I nod and climb out. I walk to the old wooden door and knock. I look back at Grayson, who was staring at me from the car. He looked kind of pissed? He tilted his head slightly as he looked at me.
What the fuck?
I swear to God, I will fucking walk home.
The door creaked open and an a lady around her thirties opened it.
"Come in." She said and I walked inside.
She closed the door after me, causing me to get a fright.
"You were the girl earlier on the phone, am I right?" She asks and I nod.
"I'm sorry that I was so rude, it's just, I can't be messed around with." She says kindly and I shake my head.
"It's no problem." I say and she lends her hand out for me to shake.
"I'm Sasha." She says and I lend my hand out, but as soon as my hand gets close to hers, she pulls away fast.
She looks at me in disbelief.
"So it's true?" She asks and I shrug.
"I need answers." I say, looking down hopelessly.
"Sit down." She says and I sit down on the couch.
"So I'm assuming you're a witch of some kind?" I ask, and she nods.
"Yes I am, I'm a witch of light." Sasha says and I nod.
"So what's wrong with me?" I ask and she furrows her eyebrow, as she sees the mark on my neck and she comes closer to me. She sits down next to me and she moves my hair out of the way and looks at it.
"You're bearing the mark of the beast." She says and I nod.
"Apparently I am." I say and she goes and sits down back to her spot.
"Have you seen a demon before?" She asks and I shake my head.
"Have you seen anything? Or heard voices?" She asks and I nod, remembering the beast in the forest.
"I've seen a beast.. I was riding in the forest and I fell off a horse and I saw a beast.. I tried to run, but he was too fast. I tried to hide, but he just took it as a sick game." I say and she nods her head, listening, as I continue.
"I heard this voice in my head repeating the words of 'you're mine' and 'I'm always watching you' and he knew my name." I say and she bites her lip.
"Did he hurt you?" She asks and I shake my head.
"No he didn't, he ran off. Actually he just disappeared." I say.
"So then it's obviously someone you know. How did the voice sound?" She asked and I got a chill up my spine when I thought about it.
"The voice was deep.. it was so deep, it was almost unrealistic." I say and she nods.
"Think back Skye, you know who this person is.." She says and then it hit me, because I've heard the voice before.
The devil is Grayson.
Just then the door slammed open revealing a very angry Grayson.
"Congratulations Skye, you figured it out." Grayson says, chuckling darkly.
