Obsession novel Chapter 56

I woke up feeling sore and stiff. I looked down and saw bruises all along my body. I was naked and that's when it all came back. Ethan attacked me and I tried to heal, and that's where everything kind of went blank. I was in so much pain. I got up and stood in front of the mirror in the room. My neck was bruised badly, my whole body had bruises on it and I was pale as fuck.

I got on a hoodie and got on one of Ian's sweatpants, it fit bit but it was really comfortable which is all I cared about. I got on socks and walked downstairs, I'm sure I looked like shit but I couldn't care less.

As I was walking downstairs I was hearing Ian shouting at somebody in his office, but I heard the other person and it was Ethan shouting back. I sighed and went to the kitchen, seeing Alex sitting down with another person next to him.

"Skye- how are you?" Alex asks and I shrug.

"I'm okay, Alex" I smile at him and open the fridge, taking out a bottled water.

"You don't look okay, Skye. You look pale as hell and I can see the bruise on your neck and it's not good" Alex says and I shrug, shivering slightly.

"I'm fine, just a little bruised" I smile at him and he shakes his head.

"Ian has been pretty much screaming at Ethan the whole morning, so that's good" He says and I shrug, opening my water bottle and sipping the water.

"Alex?" I look up at him and he looks at me.

"Do you think Grayson would want to hurt Ian.. or my pack.. or you?" I ask softly and he sighs, opening his arms and pulling me in, hugging me.

"I think at the moment Grayson wants to hurt everybody badly. His been bad before, but now his just plain and simple blood thirsty. But it's okay- we are going to protect you Skye. And that's a promise" He rubs my back and deep down I know that I should leave.

I should leave and surrender myself to Grayson before he comes here and kills everybody I love. It's just the right thing to do, and deep down inside I know that I'm going to do it.
