Obsession novel Chapter 49

A week had past and I got a message from Ian saying he was in NY and wanted to go out, so I was currently getting ready. He messaged me saying that I shouldn't over do it and just put something comfortable on. So I got on black leggings, a black shirt that had some cleavage showing, and I got on my Adidas sneakers and did my hair. I let my hair loose and I got some perfume on and went downstairs.

"Have fun. And be safe, and call if you need anything" Jamie says and hugs me. I hug him back and look at Alex which seemed to be unimpressed.

"Call if you need anything. And I mean anything" Alex says and I nod.

I heard a car pull up and Ian was dressed in a black pair of skinny Jean's with a long sleeved, black button up shirt and his hair was done nicely. I walked to the car and he opened the door for me. I climbed inside and we drove off.

"God, you look beautiful" He says and I smile.

"And you look handsome" I smile and look out the window.

"So where we off to?" I ask and he smirks.

"You'll see when we arrive there" I huff and he chuckles.

"So tell me before I do anything- what happened between you and the Dolans?" Ian asks and I shrug, looking down.

"Basically it wasn't working out, like Grayson was an ass most of the time. We barely got along because his always looking for fault from me, or his always just glaring at me. Ethan on the other hand was nice to me and sweet until I found out that they do some sick type of rituals where they kill innocent people so I got sick and I left" I shrug and Ian looks at me with his eyebrow raised.

"That's really intense. Yeah the Dolans are both evil bastards and have things going on around them all the time that I prefer to not know about" He says and I nod.

"Although Skye, I'm quite concerned and actually worried about you thinking about it" He says and I look up at him. His eyes show that he was in thought and he didn't look happy.

"Thank you Ian. Really, I appreciate your kindness" I say and he shakes his head.

"Nonsense. I'll help where I can. We leave tomorrow. We'll go to my pack, or OUR pack and we'll get your pack moved in. Although I've got a business meeting tomorrow morning I want you to attend with me" Ian smirks and I look at him.

"And why are you smirking?" I ask and he chuckles

"Well let's just say that theres going to be a lot of Alpha's there and the news will spread like fire that you're with me, and immediately will tick off Grayson and Ethan obviously. Just wiping that smirk off of Grayson's face will be like Christmas. Plus you're making a statement and actually coming out of hiding and it shows some power" He says and I nod.

We ended the night off and said our goodbyes, I told Alex everything and was already packed.

Ian was amazing the whole night and took me on a date to a fair where he won me a couple of stuffies from the arcade games and we went on rides together.
