Noelle sat in the driver's seat, only to realize she couldn't reach the gas pedal. Were Cedric's legs that long? As she pondered how to adjust the seat, Cedric suddenly leaned in and helped adjust it.
When she turned her head, she could feel how close he was. It was far too close for comfort.
"I can do it myself," she quickly said.
Cedric finally sat back in his seat. He smiled as he watched her in the driver's position.
Noelle finished adjusting the seat. But even after she straightened up and gripped the steering wheel, something still felt unfamiliar. She glanced at Cedric. "Hold on tight."
Cedric hummed. "I trust your driving skills."
With that, Noelle stepped on the gas, and the luxury car headed for the road. The two of them were silent during the ride.
Noelle was fully focused on driving. After a while, she suddenly remembered something. "Which hospital do you want to go to?"
Cedric shrugged. "Anywhere is fine. Just go to the nearest one if you're in a hurry."
Noelle pursed her lips. Why didn't he suggest the Greene family's private hospital? He would get the best care there. She didn't say anything, but a decision had formed in her mind.
Cedric quickly figured out where they were headed based on the route. His eyes lit up. His mood lifted, and he tapped on the windows rhythmically while gazing out the window.
Soon, the car pulled up outside the Greene family's private hospital. Noelle got out and looked at him. "You'll get the best treatment here. Someone will take care of you."
After all, he was the heir to the Greene family. Cedric stood by her side. "How are you getting back?"
