No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 795

Noelle held up the sketch with a mocking smirk, her piercing gaze locked onto the bitch.

Xenia squirmed under the scrutiny, unsure of Noelle's intentions. She hedged her bets with a vague answer. "It looks somewhat like him, but not exactly. It's just an artist's sketch—how could it be perfect?"

She had prepared this excuse in advance. After all, who could expect a hand-drawn portrait to be flawless?

Noelle saw right through her evasion. She tossed the sketch back and retorted, "If it's not accurate enough, then keep adjusting it until it is!"

She was not about to let the bitch squirm out of this.

Xenia's face fell, humiliation burning through her. Tears welled up in her eyes as she turned to Wyatt with a pitiful whimper. "Wyatt, I'm exhausted from sitting here so long. Can we take a break?"

Wyatt hesitated before relenting. "Fine, we can pause for a bit. It's not like a few minutes will change anything."

Xenia brightened immediately, already plotting her escape—until Donovan cut in with a sharp "No."

Xenia froze but stayed silent, her pleading eyes fixed on Wyatt. She knew the Liddells despised her now that they had learned Sean was alive. Now, Wyatt was her only lifeline.

Wyatt scowled. "Donovan, she's clearly uncomfortable. What's the harm in letting her rest?"

"Wyatt, are you out of your damn mind?" Donovan snapped, jabbing a finger in Wyatt's face. "We're trying to catch our parents' murderer, and you're worried about her comfort? Do you even care about justice for Mom and Dad?"

Wyatt grumbled, "She's pregnant. We can't push her too hard."

Frank had heard enough. He kicked Wyatt's chair in disgust. "All she's doing is talking. How the hell is that going to 'exhaust' her?"

Wyatt immediately shut his mouth, not daring to argue further.

Frank glared at Xenia. "Sit your ass down. You're not moving until we get an accurate sketch of Sean."
