Noelle smiled as she reached out a hand toward Xenia as if inviting her.

Xenia was beyond angry. She had memorized her speech for this banquet, only to have it ruined. Yet Noelle still had the audacity to invite her on stage? Noelle was humiliating her!

Upon seeing the situation, Donovan quickly chimed in, "Xenia, both of you should go up together. After all, you're sisters and have both contributed to the script."

Xenia reluctantly reached for Noelle's hand, only for the latter to suddenly withdraw hers. "I was just joking. Did you think I was serious? Since I, as the rightful creator, am here, there's no need for you to give the speech on my behalf."

Noelle smirked. "After all, you're just a faker."

She pushed past Xenia, intentionally bumping into her. Xenia stumbled, and her face twisted with rage. Noelle, that bitch!

Meanwhile, Noelle calmly stepped onto the stage and looked at Donovan, whose expression was far from pleasant.

She smiled. "My dear brother went out of his way to prepare such a grand surprise for me. I'm touched!"

Donovan was fuming inside, but he couldn't lose his temper with so many people watching.

Blake handed another microphone to Noelle.

Noelle took the microphone and turned to the audience. "Hello, everyone. I am MM Bean. I haven't been in the best condition lately, so my brother decided to let our family's adopted daughter speak on my behalf.

"But I still came. After all, I wrote this script. She doesn't even understand it."

Donovan immediately interrupted, "Noelle, if I remember correctly, Xenia also contributed to the script. Have you forgotten?"

"Oh, I haven't forgotten. She did help. By bringing me some water. Oh, and by accidentally damaging my computer, which caused me to lose my entire draft."

Noelle listened with a smirk. "You claim to have contributed so much. Tell me: how many versions did this script go through?

"How many times were the characters' settings changed? How many relationship crises did the main couple experience? And how many times was the villain's backstory revised? Do you remember them?"

Xenia's face fell. How was she supposed to remember all that? No one said she needed to answer these kinds of questions! She didn't write the script, so how could she possibly know?

Noelle stared her down. "You can't answer, right? That's because you weren't involved in the creation process at all."

Donovan quickly stepped in, "Noelle, this script has been revised so many times. How could anyone possibly remember every detail?"

Noelle turned to him. "But I remembered everything."
