No Divorce? The Billionaire's Love Chase! novel Chapter 134

"One hundred percent cooperation," Rock Sayer promised.

Claudia immediately ordered a full physical examination for him.

After Rock Sayer left the room, Gideon told Claudia, "The Sayer family is an old European financial dynasty. Master Sayer is the youngest grandson. He's suffered from insomnia for three years and has seen famous doctors from all over the world."

Gideon added, "If you can cure him, you'll make a name for yourself overnight and secure a place in the global field of sleep disorder treatment."

Faced with the challenge, Claudia was determined to succeed. "Don't worry, Gideon. I'll give it my all."

The two of them left the consultation room and passed by another ward.

A business news program was playing on the television, featuring an exclusive interview with York.

Seeing the dapper and sophisticated York on the screen, a sardonic smile touched Claudia's lips.

Who would have thought that such an outstanding man would not only keep his first love and their illegitimate son on the side, but could also treat his own wife with such heartlessness and calculation, all without a shred of guilt.

Claudia calmly averted her gaze and walked away without a change in her expression.

York had just finished the interview when he received a call from Ann.

At ten in the morning, they met at a coffee shop.

York looked around. "Didn't you say Ethan was crying and wanted to see me? Where is he?"

Ann lowered her head guiltily. "I'm sorry, York, I got the date wrong. Ethan has his calligraphy class today. I just dropped him off."

Ann refused without a second thought. "York, your mother was right. You and your wife aren't divorced yet. It wouldn't be right for me to use your money. It's not fair to your wife."

She continued, "I've already signed with an influencer agency and I start in a couple of days. From now on, I'll take good care of Ethan and myself. I'll be self-sufficient and try my best not to trouble you."

York's gaze was complicated as he stared at her. He didn't take the card back, nor did he say anything.

"You've helped us so much already," Ann said. "I can't just stand by and watch you and your wife actually get a divorce. If that happened, I'd be the one to blame."

York's tense features slowly relaxed.

He felt an inexplicable sense of relief.

"Ann, this isn't your fault," he said. "Don't feel burdened by it."
