My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2679

A blind date?

They were on a blind date?

They suddenly heard someone choking.

Finding this whole thing awkward, Sheldon had taken a sip of water. But halfway drinking, Dory asked a very sudden question, which caused him to choke.

He then coughed out the water he was drinking.

Yesseca sat in silence.

While Tremaine quietly looked away.

They were embarrassed for being asked that question.

Sheldon's attempt to lighten the mood only made it worse.

Tremaine's face tightened.

Yesseca's cheeks blushed.

Tremaine managed to catch sigh of this, even though she quickly composed herself.

He was shocked to see her blushing.

He recalled that Yesseca had a tendency to blush very often.

Her face was always red and rosy when they were together.

She often blushed whenever he complimented her or when she caught him staring at her.

Back when Yesseca was young.

But now, many years have passed since.

She was no longer that young, innocent girl anymore.

He didn't expect to see her blush at him.

She looked just like she did before.

Her fair cheeks were tinged a rosy pink and her eyelashes trembled ever so gently, like flowers in the rain.

Tremaine was captivated at Yesseca's expression.

For a brief moment, he was engulfed in his memories.

Yesseca however, was too embarrassed to speak.

Butthen again...

Sheldon looked at Tremaine, then at Yesseca. He was going to say something but then decided not to.

Things didn't seem well between the president and Miss Cowell.

Just then, Dory stood up.

She spoke to Sheldon, "Excuse me uncle, but I need to use the bathroom. Will you take me there?"

Sheldon looked at her.

Worried that Sheldon didn't get the hint, she aggressively winked at him.

Catching her drift, Sheldon immediately stood up. "Oh yes, of course."

They then left Yesseca and Tremaine alone together at the table.

Things became even more awkward.

Yesseca was so embarrassed that she wanted to get up and use the washroom as well.

Just then, Tremaine spoke, "Yesseca, we haven't seen each other in such a long time."
