My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) novel Chapter 2437

Yuliana caught up with Rorita.

"Rorita," Yuliana called out.

Rorita stopped in her tracks, "Hello, Yuliana."

Yuliana said, "You heard what Tremaine said just now, right? Don't blame him. His first love was Yesseca, so it's natural that he still loves her to death until now. You have to understand where he's coming on. After all, every man has that one woman that they can't forget."

Those words were obviously not to comfort her, but to add fuel to the fire.

That was exactly what Yuliana wanted.

Why would she want to persuade Rorita?

Instead, she just wanted to make the situation worse. What she wanted was for Rorita to cook up a fuss with Tremaine and cause Yesseca's desserts to no longer be delivered to Quartley Palace.

Rorita's lips quivered.

Yuliana continued, "Truth be told, since the start of your marriage with Tremaine till now, I can tell that he has never loved you. Instead, the one he still loves deeply is Yesseca. If that wasn't the case, then why would he come back to Quartley Palace so late at night everyday? Poor you! You've gotten trapped into such a loveless marriage at such a young age."

Rorita let out a deep breath as she replied, "Yuliana, you're mistaken. The reason why her pastries were sent here was because my sister gave some to me first. I then brought some for Madam Quartley to have a taste. She found them tasty, so she wanted them to be delivered to the Quartley Palace everyday. Yeseca didn't do this."

Yuliana was rendered speechless.

She didn't expect Rorita to speak up for Yesseca and silently cursed her for being an idiot.

However, she still insisted, "Rorita, I know you are a good person since you're still defending her at such a moment. Your words are right, but that doesn't mean that Yesseca doesn't know that her desserts are being delivered to the Quartley Palace. Why didn't she reject the offer in the first place? Have you not thought about the actual reason? Her hidden motive is to seduce Tremaine!"
