Willow was hesitating on what to answer when the interviewer's phone suddenly rang.
She interrupted Willow, “Excuse me, I’ll take a call first.”
After that, she returned with a slight smile and told Willow, “Ms. Nason, we think that your experience is in line with our company’s development. You can come to work tomorrow.”
Willow was surprised. It wasn’t until she got the employment contract that she believed that it was true!
She got the job as a secretary with her resume.
The company didn’t reject her because of her qualifications.
It was like a dream for her.
When she walked out, she turned back to look at the name of the company.
“Goodwill Technologies Co.” was written on the glass door.
Willow had a platform to show her abilities, and now she must do a good job.
On her way home, she could not hide her excitement and called Rachel to share her joy.
“Rachel, I’ve found a new job! It’s not a janitor nor factory worker this time, but a secretary, which matches my major in university!”
Rachel could hear the excitement and thrill in her words.
Willow was very good in her studies. She had been offered scholarships consecutively for the two years in university.
She had all it took to be a secretary.
Although she had dropped out, the knowledge that she had gained had stayed with her.
Jasper was speechless. It was Xavier himself who had mentioned playing hard to get.
“Congrats,” Jasper said coolly.
“Thank you, Uncle Jaz. You’re my lucky star. I’ll buy you a drink at Carey’s Bar. See you there!” Xavier hung up the phone happily.
He straightened his collar and looked in the mirror, thinking that he was getting more and more attractive.

Samantha had stayed in the hospital for several days. The swelling on her face finally subsided and she was back to normal.
There were still some bruises, but they didn't hinder her appearance.
