Mr. Norman, She's Out of Your League Now novel Chapter 59

Melissa ran too quickly for Stella to catch up, so Stella had no choice but to send Amber and the other children back to the classroom while she went to inform the principal about the situation.

Amber had no objections. However, on her way back, she ran into Kayden, who was rushing toward her.

When he saw her, he stopped and asked anxiously, "Amber, I heard you were bullied. Is that true?"

Amber thought for a moment. Even though Melissa failed, she had tried to bully her, so Amber nodded.

Kayden became even more worried and asked quickly, "Did you get hurt?"

She shook her head, saying, "I'm fine. Melissa couldn't beat me. She was the one who started it, and now, Ms. Kent knows about it. Melissa's crying, saying she's going to call her mom."

Amber seemed a bit disdainful. Those who couldn't win a fight and resorted to calling their parents were really pathetic.

Kayden sighed in relief when he heard she wasn't hurt, but he was still worried. Melissa's mom was very protective, and her background seemed quite impressive. If this thing escalated, Amber would definitely be at a disadvantage.

He quickly explained this to Amber, but she wasn't worried at all. She didn't care about that. "Thanks, Kayden, but let's not talk about it. I'm going to call my mother..."

Since Melissa was calling her mother, Amber figured she should call her own mother as well.

Kayden, hearing her, felt even more concerned. Could Amber's mother handle it? He didn't believe she could. He had better call Brian. After all, this situation started because of him.

With that in mind, Kayden hurriedly went to make a call.

She knew Amber very well. Amber would never start trouble, and Charlotte understood her character better than anyone.

Amber briefly explained what happened in the restroom and repeated, "She started it first!"

Charlotte furrowed her brows. From what Amber said, she hadn't done anything wrong; it was indeed self-defense.

If the other party's parents came to the school and made a scene, as Amber's mom, Charlotte couldn't just stand by. She had already made up her mind. She immediately reassured Amber, saying, "Don't be scared. I'm coming right over..."

After hanging up the phone, Charlotte changed out of her work clothes and left the research institute right away.
