Mr. Norman, She's Out of Your League Now novel Chapter 22

Charlotte glared at her phone, feeling deeply annoyed.

After all these years, Brian still hadn't changed his habit of hanging up on people.

How dare he hang up on her?

Next time, she was definitely going to hang up on him first.

Charlotte ate her food in frustration, chewing on the meat harshly as if it were him.

Meanwhile, at the Norman residence.

Just as Brian put away his phone, Kayden came huffing and puffing down the stairs, dragging his suitcase behind him. "Daddy, I've packed everything!"

Brian glanced back at him and hummed. "Since you're ready, let's go."

"Alright." Kayden nodded, then came over and grabbed his hand. "Daddy, walk slowly. I'll hold you."

"Okay." Brian let Kayden lead him along.

Soon, they left the residence.

As they drove away, Kayden swung his legs and asked, "Where are we moving to?"

He had been eager to know since Brian mentioned moving last night.

However, Brian didn't give him a clear answer. Instead, he replied, "You'll know when we get there."

"Alright." Kayden didn't press further.

He did feel a little hesitant to leave the residence. After all, the new place wouldn't be like this.

However, he knew Brian needed eye treatment, so there was no other option. Kayden could only convince himself to accept it.

At the thought of this wonderful future, Kayden was so excited he almost jumped up as he cheered, "This is amazing!"

When Brian heard the noise beside him, he asked, "What is amazing?"

Kayden quickly covered his mouth and replied, "Nothing! I was just looking at our new house and it's gorgeous. I love it!"

His tone was filled with sheer joy.

"I'm glad you like it." Brian rarely saw his son this joyful.

Kayden nodded enthusiastically and eagerly asked, "Which house are we moving into?"

"The first one after entering this road."

Kayden's smile grew wider at his words because Charlotte lived in the second house!
