TWO MONTHS AGO (Flashback) Edited.

"Ashley, Ashley wake-up sis." Isabella shook sleeping Ashley to wake up.

" Today is your big day sis, wake and let's celebrate it." Isa said act and acted happy.

" What is it Isabella? Don't you have anything important to do than to disturb my peaceful sleep? Do you enjoy ruining everything for me including my sleep? " Ashley groaned and sat up.

Isabella acted being offended by Ashley's remark. She pouted, and her eyes immediately became moist.

" Ash, is it hard for you to know that I'm trying for us to get along? Why do you always view me in the worst way?"

Ashley was at loose of words. Isabella can really act. It's not the first time she played pitiful.

" Just tell me why you came into my room Isabella. " Ashley sighed and inquired from Isa.

Isabella smiled and told her. " Today is your birthday Ash. And guess what, I'm throwing a party for you at Plaza Hotel this evening, 7:00 pm sharp." Isabella said happily to Ashley.

" Isabella, what kind of game are you trying to play this time around? I'm sick and tired of your tricks. Please just let me have one peaceful day." Ashley said to her feeling frustrated.

She ran her hands into her long black curly hair. Her hair is one thing Isabella is most jealous of.

" Come on Ash, I promise that I'm not playing any games or trick on you this time. I know we haven't gotten along with each other very well. I understand if you don't trust me, but I want us to be real sisters. That's why I'm throwing this party for you as in a form of apology and a start over for our sisterhood." Isabella said sullen.

Ashley just stared at Isabella. Something just isn't right. Isabella will never act kind towards Ashley unless she had some bad intention.

But come to think of it, Ashley hasn't celebrated her birthday in the past two years, so she thought of accepting Isabella's idea.

She got up from the bed and gave Isabella a sisterly hug.

Sadly without her seeing her back, Isabella had a devilish smile on her face. It seems her plans will go on smoothly as she had planned.

" Thank you, Isa." Ash said, though she still didn't think it's a good idea to go to that so called birthday party, but she's the birthday girl, so she has to go.

" You are welcome sis. Now get ready to be the spotlight tonight because I also invited your James. " Isa said as if she's really happy for her.

" I forgot Ash, Dad and I together with Mom bought you a birthday dress as a gift." Isabella said and showed the dress which was inside the big box she was holding to Ashley.

Ashley eyes sparkled at the sight of the dress. " It's beautiful." Ashley murmured with a smile.

Isabella just continued her devilish smirk on her face without Ashley noticing.

" There's so much time before the party. Just enjoy yourself for a while ok, because your life is definitely going to change after this party." Isa said, pretending to be happy.

Ashley didn't like the last statement of Isabella's words.

" What do you mean Isa?" Ash asked her with her brows knitted together.

" Come on Ash, I meant to say your life will change because you and I will be inseparable after tonight. " Isa explained with another lie.

Ashley just nodded in acceptance of her explanation.

" Ok then Ash, I will take my leave, because sure to get ready okay." Isabella to her and hugged her one more time before leaving.

She was about turn the nob of the door when it got opened. Mr Miller entered with Mrs Green.

" Happy birthday Princess. I heard you going to celebrate this year. I wish I can go with you and celebrate your big day." Mr Miller said to Ashley loving which made her moved to tears.

Ashley hugged her father so tight. "Thank you Dad." she said whilst hugging her father.

Mrs Green and Isabella were fuming at the father and daughter emotions. " Happy birthday Ash." Mrs Green said just to break their hug. It's felt like a slap on her face knowing that her husband will never love her more than he loves his daughter.

Isabella was the first person to leave Ashley's room. As soon as she closed Ashley's door, She giggled to herself. " Oh my poor sister Ashley, tonight is going to be the start of your nightmare." She smirked and went to her room to make her preparations faster.

PLAZA HOTEL

At 8:29 pm and the party had grown hot at Plaza Hotel. Ashley looked around, but she couldn't see her boyfriend or Isabella anywhere.

She left the dancing hall to look for them, but she stumbled on her way. Furthermore, she didn't know what was wrong with her, but she was smart enough detect what was wrong with her.

He did everything he could to make their company survive which nearly went down because of Steve.

But Steve never gave him the peace he deserved. He will always make attempts on David's life to have the position of the CEO back.

Steve's parents called for a family meeting today and always, the only agenda for every meeting they would call for is, David should hand the company over to Steve but they always fail.

David didn't want to attend today's meeting because it was a waste of time for him.

But his grandparents begged him to come along and even promised him that, it will be the very last the time they will attend such unnecessary meeting. He couldn't refused his grandparents so he came along nevertheless.

David with his grandparents met Steve and his parents at the entrance of the hotel.

David pretended not to see them which angered Steve at David's imposing.

He walked towards David and put his right hand on his shoulder.

"Don't you dare touch me." David said coldly to him.

" Tsk tsk tsk, oh my dear cousin, don't be petty. We are family remember. Oops, I don't see your parents here, have they not return from their traveled yet? How can they give birth and forget about him. Tsk tsk. "

Steve said trying to get reaction from David but to his dismay, David didn't even blink at his mockery which angered Steve even more.

" Listen to me David, I'm fucking older than you and DWC was supposed to mine." Steve said through his gritted teeth not wanting to catch attention.

" Then take it back if you can." David shot back at him coldly.

But Steve only smiled devilishly. " Oh David, I promise you that by the end of this meeting, you will not only lose DWC, but you are definitely going to be forgotten. " Steve leaned over and whispered into David ears.

He pulled back and smiled at David before entering the hotel.

David just stood at the entrance. What Steve said puzzled him. What did he mean by he will be forgotten? What does Steve plan to do this time around?

David had a bad feeling about this whole family meeting today. But he didn't know what exactly might happen.
