Ashley was about to be walked out from her room when Isabella said something which made Ashley stopped in her track and turn to look at her.

" Why are you looking at me like that my dear pitiful sister. Yes you heard me right. James and I are getting engaged Ash." Isabella said with a smirk on her face. Seeing Ashley lost in words were making her happy.

Ashley on the other hand felt so much betrayed and hurt. If Isabella and James didn't fuck each other on her birthday, she wouldn't have ended up in a room with a stranger and had sex with him.

All her misfortune started with Isabella and her 5 years relationship boyfriend James. It's hurt so much. But she would not give Isabella the satisfaction of seeing her hurt. Ashley laughed sarcastically which surprised Isabella.

" Well then, congratulations to the both filthy couple in the world. My step-sister and my 5 years relationship boyfriend who fucked each other on my birthday. Extremely disgusting. You know what Isa..." Ashley walked closer to Isabella and whispered in her ears. " You are the only one who will cherish a discarded toilet tissue."

Ashley left the fuming Isabella in her room.

Isabella was shocked and surprised at the same time. It doesn't matter to her whether Ashley saw her and James in bed, but what troubled her was, why Ashley kept silence about it all these while.

She followed Ashley downstairs because she knew James was coming to visit her. She didn't want James and Ashley to talk to each other without her knowing what they would talk about.

Ashley saw her father sitting in his chair in the hall emotionless when he saw her with her bags. Mrs Green was sitting next to him. Ashley's heart ached seeing her father treating her like a stranger.

"Ash my dear, do you have money with you? I can give you some if you asked for it." Mrs Green asked her mischievously.

Ashley felt nauseated with the woman pretentious. She bet Mrs Green and Isabella would have won Oscar if they were to be actresses.

" Don't you dare give her any money. She should go to the father of that bastard in her womb." Mr Miller snapped at his wife.

Ashley wasn't surprised at all hearing such statements from her father. She knew her father can say more than that, and it's hurt. It's hurt her that her biological father was treating her like a trash.

But she won't give them the satisfaction of seeing her breakdown.

" Mrs Green, in case you are having an early amnesia, I won't mind reminding you that, this house, the Miller Company, the money and all these luxurious things you are enjoying are from MY MOTHER!!" Ashley said with a wicked smirk on her face.

If she's going to leave the house her mother built for her and the person who called himself her father, then she will make sure each and every one of them knew their place.

"Y-you...." Mr Miller raised his hand to slap Ashley again, but his hand got halted in the air when he heard Ashley words.

" SLAP me, that's all you can do. Just slap me. Why are you stopping? Don't you find pleasure in Slapping me to satisfy your mistress and your illegitimate child? " Ashley shouted at her father. She had already had enough.

" Ashley how can you speak to your father like that? Do you want to anger him more?" Mrs Green words came into Ashley's ears.

Ashley laughed sarcastically. " I'm sure you are loosing it Mrs Green. Have you forgotten this man in front of me now disowned me not so long ago? I'm no longer his daughter remember. And also, did I say something wrong? Is it not true that he married my mom when he was a pauper and had nothing? "

Ashley said with a lone tear running down from her eyes.

" ASHLEY!!!" Mr Miller couldn't hold back anymore and slapped Ashley again.

He was angry because Ashley reminded him of his past. Ashley was sure to go for a check on her ears because she had received a lot of slaps in a single day.

But yet still, she never backed down.

" Wow Mr Miller, the truth really hurt. Why? Are you ashamed of your past? Are you ashamed that you cheated on the woman who helped you when you were nobody ? You even had an illegitimate child somewhere behind her back."

Ashley couldn't believe her ears and froze in her steps. It's indeed true that, you will find your real enemies when you are in trouble.

She turned her body and faced all the people who are making her life miserable. Remembering their faces one by one, for she Will definitely pay them back tenfold some day.

" Cassandra, I don't care what you think of me. At least I'm not as shameless as your stupid brother and my stupid sister who fucked themselves at the hotel on my birthday."

Ashley smirked when she heard gasps from her father and Mrs Green.

Not to mention Cassandra who felt like Ashley had slapped her on the face.

" What does she mean by that Isabella? " Mr Miller asked angrily. But that was Ashley back case.

As if even the heavens were against her, it's started raining as soon she left the house.

Ashley felt miserable and lonely. What can she do as an eighteen years old with a child in her womb without any money nor shelter.

She knelt down outside the main gate of their house and started crying.

From crying to wailing. She was disowned by her father who was supposed to love her no matter what.

Her heart ached so much. She acted strong in front of her family, but only she knew how much she was broken from the inside.

A luxurious car was parked nearby, and a man was sitting inside looking at the poor little girl crying in the rain without the girl even realizing she has been watched.
