Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 701

Josefina swung by Livia's place and walked in to find her perfecting her darts game. With her sharp bob haircut, tight tee, and black shorts, the cool, edgy Livia was back in full swing.

Josefina handed the groceries over to Lisa and passed a steaming cup of hot cocoa to Livia. "Livia, your aim is still killer. Bullseye every single time," she complimented.

Livia took the hot cocoa, pulled out the straw, and took a sip. "This cocoa is as delicious as always, Josie. You always remember how much I love it," she said with a smile.

"Of course, I always want the best for you," Josefina replied, beaming.

Livia pulled Josefina into her room and whispered, "Josie, something's come back to me."

Josefina's eyes sparkled with intrigue. "What is it? Spill the beans."

"The night I was being chased, Shay was masked, but these past few days, I've been comparing Shay's build with that person's, and it's her. I heard someone call her by a different name, but my head was fuzzy, and I couldn't make it out clearly."

Livia felt a bit embarrassed and guilty that she hadn't caught the name.

"Livia, don't beat yourself up. Just identifying that person as Shay is impressive. Now that we know Shay might be hiding something, we can start digging in that direction," Josefina reassured her.

Comforted by Josefina's words, Livia smiled, "Josie, you always know how to cheer me up."

Livia had always trusted Josefina implicitly, pampering her and taking her word as gospel. Still, she couldn't help but worry about Josefina and decided to check in with Luke later.

After their chat, Josefina left Livia's place. Downstairs, Oliver was by the flowerbed, engrossed in his phone. A woman approached him, whispering, "Hey, handsome, how about we exchange contacts? You'd make a perfect model for our company – a real-life mannequin."

Oliver didn't even look up, his refusal crisp, "No, thanks."

The woman tried to catch his eye, but Oliver stepped aside. Then he saw Josefina. Suddenly, the cold, aloof man broke into a tender smile as if spring had arrived, melting the ice away and bringing flowers into bloom.

Oliver walked over to Josefina, his eyes alight with joy.
