Garrett chuckled, "We're just messing with you, man. If we weren't rooting for you, why would we come all this way to watch your game?"
Reid laughed, "Mom, Dad, Sis, thanks for being here. I'm about to head in, just need to check a few things out first."
"Go get 'em, champ!"
The three of them cheered in unison, boosting Reid's spirits.
Josefina settled into her seat in the section reserved for Reid's team, her eyes glued to the action on the field.
As the competition neared its climax, only ten companies remained in the running.
Albert texted Josefina, "Boss, should we go easy on Reid?"
Josefina replied firmly, "No way. Let's play it fair and square. Reid may be my brother, but on the field, it's every team for itself. How could I respect our crew if we didn't give it our all?"
With Josefina's green light, Albert focused back on his team, "Alright folks, let's give it everything we've got. That trophy's ours to win, and JoyLife Tech is taking it home!"
As Albert readied himself to take the stage, Josefina spotted a familiar face—Dominic.
Dominic arrived fashionably late, accompanied by a towering robot that stood a solid two meters tall.
At Dominic's command, the robot took a few steps forward before leaping onto the field, drawing everyone's attention with its sheer size.
Josefina couldn't help but notice both the robot and Dominic's outfit, which featured her design work.
She hadn't realized that the client who had commissioned their company for designs was Dominic. Had she known, she would've turned down the job!
Just like that time at the hospital—if she'd known Dominic was the one needing help, she wouldn't have lifted a finger. Let him fend for himself, she thought bitterly.
