Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 652

Stepping outside, they both sat on a stone bench under the soft glow of a nearby streetlamp, which highlighted Oliver’s stern features.

“What’s the deal with you and Livia?” Oliver asked.

Finley frowned. “Did Livia talk to Josefina, and then Josefina sent you to confront me?”

“Finley, don't flatter yourself. I came here because I can't stand it anymore. Livia lost her memory, and you treated her like a rebound. That’s really low, man.”

Finley looked a bit embarrassed.

“I didn’t know she was friends with Josefina. Plus, Livia seemed pretty into me. We dated, it didn’t work out, and we broke up. Why is it such a big deal to you?”

“And what about Shay?”

“Shay and I are seeing where things go. She wants to take it slow, see if we’re compatible. If it works out, we’ll be together. I’ve already told Livia to block me so we don’t bother each other.”

Finley’s casual attitude made it seem like nothing significant had happened between him and Livia.

Oliver stared at Finley’s face so intently that it made him uneasy.

“Oliver, why are you looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face?”

Oliver chuckled coldly. “I see two words written all over your face: ‘fool’.”

Oliver stood up to leave, having no more to say.

Finley and Livia were truly over, and he hoped Finley wouldn’t regret it.

...

Josefina had just finished showering when Oliver called.

“I went to see Finley. He said he’s cleared things up with Livia, and they’ll stay out of each other’s way from now on.”

Josefina was silent.

“He makes it sound so easy. He saves Livia just to hurt her? Finley is such a jerk. I could explode.”
