Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 603

Hattie gripped the photo tightly, her other hand clutching the stack of documents like her life depended on it.

“Reid,” she demanded, her voice slicing through the tension, “do you believe me or these documents?”

Garrett tried to jump in, but Hattie cut him off sharply. “And you, Garrett, do you even care about your family anymore?”

“Hattie, please, calm down,” Garrett pleaded. “How could I not care? Even though Josie hasn’t been with us for long, I adore her just as much as you do. She’s our precious daughter too.”

Hattie turned her gaze to Dorian. “And you? Are these photos fake? Have you checked? Dorian, as the CEO, you can’t just make decisions without evidence, right?”

Dorian hesitated for a moment before replying, “Mom, Josie is my sister, and I love her just like you do. When I saw the photo, I had it verified. It’s not altered. What it shows really happened.”

Dorian's words only deepened Garrett's shock, making it even harder to accept the reality.

How could this be true?

Hattie refused to believe it. There was no way her beloved Josie could be an assassin.

“I refuse to accept this as truth. Dorian, Garrett, you both better keep this under wraps. Don’t you dare tell anyone about this. Our Josie is simply Ms. Josefina Harrison, not some killer!”

Her piercing gaze bore into their souls as she added, “Got it? I don’t want a fourth person knowing about this!”

In unison, Garrett and Dorian assured her, “We won’t say a word.”

Relieved, Hattie took a deep breath. “Remember your promise. If I find out you’ve talked, I’ll disown you, Dorian, and divorce you, Garrett!”
