Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 602

After Oliver finished speaking, he was met with silence. Turning around, he noticed Josefina had dozed off and was slowly slipping into the bathtub. Alarmed, he quickly scooped her out of the water.

Her delicate beauty caught his eye once more. Oliver grabbed a clean towel and wrapped it around Josefina, holding her close. Seeing her hair was soaked too, he decided to blow-dry it for her. Once her hair was dry, he gently placed the restless Josefina on the bed and tucked her in.

His own emotions began to surge, almost overwhelming him. To steady himself, Oliver rushed to the bathroom for a cold shower. Feeling calmer, he returned to Josefina's side and lay down next to her. Her sweet face was right there, and he couldn't resist planting a kiss on her lips.

Josefina, half-awake, murmured, "Oliver?"

Smiling, he whispered back, "Yes, it's me, Oliver."

Josefina smiled softly and returned his kiss. His lips trailed gently from her face, down her cheeks, to her delicate neck, and then to her collarbone... Just as Oliver was about to go further, he stopped. He lay back down and held Josefina close until they both drifted off to sleep.

...

Hattie called Josefina several times but got no answer. Just as she was about to call again, she received a text from Josefina: "Mom, I won't be home tonight. I'm at Livia's, no need to worry."

Hattie sighed in relief. "Garrett, no need to call Josie anymore. She's over at Livia's."
