Chapter 1159 Showing Up Unannounced
It was well past ten in the evening. Earlier, Mandy's assistant had attempted to secure a hotel room, but she had rebuffed it. She had come here for Cherise and Lucy, so staying in a hotel seemed pointless. But now, neither woman could be reached, and Damien was nowhere to be found either!
"Ms. Wool, why don't you come to the hotel room I reserved... and spend the night there?" Mandy's assistant asked nervously as he lugged two suitcases behind Mandy.
Mandy rolled her eyes and gave him a quick look, "Do you have a girlfriend?"
Taken aback, her assistant nodded, "Yeah."
She narrowed her eyes slightly and flashed a charming smile, "Look for her number and give her a ring."
Instantly, alarm bells blared in the assistant's mind. "Ms. Wool... are you...?"
"Tell your girlfriend you want me to stay the night with you," Mandy pressed.
Her assistant hesitated. "Ms. Wool... I don't think that's necessary..."
"Is your guilty conscience working?" Mandy shot him a disdainful glance. "Take the bags to the hotel. I'll look for my friends."
"But... aren't your friends... unreachable?" The assistant pursed his lips, concerned.
Colin was dumbstruck. With a resounding bang, the villa door slammed shut, leaving Mandy stranded outside, abandoned without mercy.
"Hey!" After feeling briefly dazed at being stranded, Mandy persisted in pressing the doorbell frantically. "Are you serious? Are you really going to leave me out here like this? I'm a guest, a friend of Lucy's! Colin Gray! Open up!"
After three minutes of Lucy's relentless knocking, Colin finally swung the door open, clearly irritated. "What on earth do you want?"
Mandy rolled her eyes, about to retort, when she noticed Colin was now dressed in pajamas.

🌸 Message to the Author: 🌸 Hi! I just finished reading your story, and I truly loved it — especially Damien and Cherise’s journey. But what completely stole my heart was Lennon and Lucy. Their final scene left me stunned… Lennon being alive, quietly showing up after all that time — it was such a powerful and emotional moment. But it also left me with so many feelings… What happened to him? How did Lucy react after the shock wore off? What did they say to each other? I keep thinking about them. I know they’re side characters, and the story is marked as completed, but I would truly love a bonus chapter — even a small one — to see what came next for them. They deserve that closure. And honestly? So do we, as readers who deeply connected with them. And we would also love to see more of Damien and cherise with their kids. Thank you for creating characters that live so deeply in our hearts. If you ever feel inspired, please consider giving Lennon and Lucy a little more. ❤️...
