The other cashier immediately said enthusiastically, “Sir, we’re actually running a special promotion right now. For just 1.5 dollars more, you can choose any item behind me.”
Theodore was about to decline, but when his gaze fell on something behind her, he abruptly changed his mind. “I’ll take that one instead.”
After paying, Theodore pushed open the convenience store door and took a deep breath of the fresh air outside. For a moment, he felt as if he’d stepped
into a whole new world.
He went back to the hospital. Following the location Eliana sent him, Theodore arrived at the restroom entrance. Seeing a nurse coming out, he handed her the bag and said, “Could you give this to Eliana?”
“Right away, Mr. Russell,” the nurse replied respectfully, taking the bag and heading inside.
A moment later, Eliana heard a nurse call out from outside the stall, “Mrs. Russell?”
Eliana immediately responded, “I’m here.”
As Eliana took the bag through the crack in the door and peeked inside, she was surprised to find not only sanitary pads but also a fresh pair of panties.
‘He even thought of this?‘ she thought, marveling at Theodore’s unexpected thoughtfulness.
On the way to Burke Manor, Eliana burst out laughing and just couldn’t stop.
Seeing Eliana unable to stop laughing after hearing about his embarrassing ordeal of buying pads, Theodore turned grim with humiliation.
Seeing this, Isaac, sitting between them, grinned and chimed in, “Don’t sweat it, Theodore. I still remember Ellie wetting the bed when she was five. That’s nothing compared to what just happened.”
This time, it was Theodore’s turn to burst out laughing.
Eliana’s smile froze, her face flushing crimson as she shot a glare at isaac. “Isaac, what are you talking about?”
Isaac quickly changed tack, soothing her, “I only said that because Theodore seemed upset, and besides…”
Seeing Isaac hesitate, Eliana had a bad feeling. She asked suspiciously, “Isaac, you’ve been so close with him lately. What else have you told him about
me?”
Seeing her stormy expression, Isaac averted his gaze nervously, not daring to say another word.
Theodore crossed his legs with an amused smirk. “Oh, nothing serious. He just told me when you were six, you left the bathroom door open while
bathing.
“The boy next door accidentally walked in and saw you. Then, you cried for three days straight.”
‘Just kill me now,‘ Eliana screamed internally.
At Burke Manor, Hannah asked, “Mom, is Isaac coming home today?”
Belinda said, “Yeah, I really have no idea how the Russell family managed to put up with him for a whole month. I’m surprised they only now sent him
back.”

Hannah knew full well the real reason–since Isaac was suffering from burn injuries, there was no way Eliana would dare bring him back.
Just then, the doorbell rang, and the maid immediately went to answer it.
Moments later, Eliana walked in hand–in–hand with Isaac–and right behind them was none other than Theodore
Seeing this, Belinda had to suppress her displeasure. Forcing a smile, she said, “Theodore, I didn’t expect you to come either.”
